I also agree with this. The board is partly to blame for the current state of affairs and it seems that our money days are over. So we should make use of what we have got, get rid of Mcleish, promote Andrew, Kmac and Sid as the first team coaching staff, cash in on some of our current side and try and build something. What other options are there? Look at the squad, look at after a few suspensions and injury's how painfully weak our squad is. I dont think there's many managers around who could come in and improve us with what we have got. This is how the board have set us out, so we work from within.

It was from about 30 yards - but I wouldn't say wonder goal. Keeper was miles off his line and bazza just lifted it over the top. Of course you gotta have skills to do that, but it wasn't jaw dropping.

Yeah because albrighton has been sensational. Another pointless dig at AMC. Albrighton has looked nothing more than a 12 yr old who's won a competition to play with the first team. Showed nothing of last season's ability and deserves to be on the bench. The zog showed on saturday a few glimpses of what's to come. I for one am 100% behind him and look forward to him growing with the club. Shame there is still idiotic fans that want to hound him out of the club becasue he hasn't scored 15 hattricks and provided 100 assist's in 11 games. Some need to pull their dingdongs out of the young downing bent love fest that they hold a torch for - its over.

Talent is there for all to see - I agree he's inconsistent and hasn't done very well since joining, but I've seen enough of him in his career to suggest given time he'll be a very good player for us. However slagging him off and wanting to get rid after 10 games of his villa career is total rubbish, and just sums up some fans.

Hi Gen, Just want to say thanks for taking the time to post on here. I disagree with the tone some use to question you and the board. However the latest letter from randy was really down beat. I don't hold much hope for the future. Still glad to have you on board, but wish some of that grit, action and fighting talk from the early years came back. The five yr plan, champs league and all that jazz is so far gone from our grasp it's not funny. Just wish you'd admit it, and say we tried, failed and have to start from square one again. I could accept that, but right now there are too many things that just dont add up and I dont feel I know where I am as a villa fan anymore. Up the Villa

Well in typical villatalk style one defeat and the hole team needs to go. So after our 3rd pre-season game, against former prem champions who are into their 6th pre-season game, also put in horrible conditions = villa shit and ireland out. Laughable. The kid also hasn't played for about two yrs. He's been put back into the fold slowly.

When did he phone you? I really really find it hard to see how you can come to the conclusion that he isn't worth it. He's the number 1 replacemnet no if's no but's. If even a little bit of you doesn't think he's good enough then you've never took the time to watch him play. I think he would prefer to go elsewhere. Thats my opinion He is not the 1 replacement, there are plenty of other options as listed above. I have seen him play numerous times I think he is average Ok your one of "those" villa fans. You never watched a game in your life mate if you think he's average.
