Actually thinking about it a little further, my wife (and younger son) are not football fans. We all watch TV as a family unit as much as we can, or me and my wife watch everything together after the kids have gone to bed. So whilst wife doesn't mind me watching all the Villa matches on TV, i don't think she'd be impressed if i had more football to watch on TV haha.

I have TV access to all the Champions League matches, but have watched around 1 CL match in the last 10 years. I just don't have any interest in watching any football featuring random teams that i don't support. I actually find football matches where i am neutral a little boring, and wouldn't watch a few of them to get to the one that is a fantastic match. I guess i'm a Villa fan much more than fan of watching football matches. To give it further context, i wouldn't watch Man City vs Liverpool in the PL as it doesn't affect Villa. But i've watched some Spurs PL matches recently as it directly affects Villa.

It makes more sense for those matches which aren't being televised. You can't watch the match by legitimate means, so the watchalong is the next best thing.

The club literally said they were building a new north stand and a 'boxpark' entertainment complex. They showed us videos of what it will look like, had the mayor on board, had planning permission. Then one day the CEO just casually mentioned it was cancelled with a throwaway line halfway through a non-related video interview. And then lied through his teeth as to why they were cancelling it.

That's not actually true is it? Man Utd have won a FA Cup, League Cup, & Europa League all whilst usually finishing in the top 4 in the PL since Fergie. Even excluding the Mourinho double season, they've even been PL runner-ups. Arsenal have won the FA Cup at least 3 times, a couple of second places in PL, runner-ups in European finals, and so on. I'd easily swap history with either of them even if we win the Conference and finish 4th.

Well their last 5 years PL finishes are 3rd, 2nd, 6th, 3rd, probably 6th. Not too shabby at all!

Is Matty Cash back for this match? I'd like to see Cash at RB and Konsa at CB... or even rest one of Konsa or Pau for the weekend.

You are correct, for some reason they only updated us before renewals opened but not after renewals closed.

So what's the PSR/SCR rules for next season 2024/25? UEFA rules for clubs in Europe are 90% of revenue? PL rules is 90% for clubs not in Europe and 80% for clubs in Europe? Something like that isn't it? -
But we may end up in a position where we can sell Digne for decent money but can't find anyone to take Coutinho, Chambers and Hause even for free. Lenglet is a loan so automatically goes back anyway.

They send you an update email at the end of each summer, so you should have been told around August 2023. Your position won't have changed since then, only after this summer when people don't renew and new people get offered it.

Nottingham Forest have announced 24% average increase for season tickets. Also youth tickets only up age 17 rather than age 19. Liverpool seem to have the smallest increase so far of 2% and that’s caused their fans to protest

I didn’t mean second in terms of priority. I mean we have two LB’s both around the age of 30. Really we need one at that age and one understudy who is younger.

There’s a small-ish chance we win the Euro Conference Cup and then we find out after the PL season has ended that 5th spot didn’t qualify for CL. Ie: We only know once the CL final has been played.
