You know Apple is a brand though, so the rest doesn't matter much. Women need iPhones. And that's they key... They don't need iPhones, but think they do, so act as if they do. That is one of the key parts of my dislike for Apple; they don't compete on experience, they play on people's fears. They compete by fuelling the perception that only Apple stuff is easy to use.

Remember what google are trying to achieve. All roads lead to search and data. Google want to get people searching on their phones. They don't need to put money in to high end devices. They've created a great experience for the upper mid range (N4) to get them searching. So many poeple have smartphones and don't use the features. A new high end phone from google won't add anything they don't already have.

Finally got 4.3. instantly feels snappier. And Conor, the N4 isn't a piece of crap! I love mine. Having seen the screens on the s3 is much rather have mine than that artificial cartoon saturation. As for the Samsung skin, no thanks.

Agree with Conor on this to a great extent. It was a bold idea, and they deserve props for trying it out. They had to do something with ARM, whether they could've come up with something different is a question which will never be answered. And as Intel becomes more competitive with ARM on power consumption they shouldn't have to delve into ARM waters again, though I don't think Haswell is going to be quite as competitive as Intel thinks, so it won't be just yet. All that said, if they can make Winmo phones using the same chips as PCs they'll have an enormous edge over Apple with Intel for MacOS & ARM for iOS. Android can only run on ARM, though OS Chrome is only Intel, the apps are browser based so therefore agnostic. Interesting and risky times for the tech giants...

I went with Talktalk. I was already a customer and they have no traffic shaping/capping whatsoever. Also the clincher for me is that it's a totally rock solid service and it came with a new and better router. It means that I can game online without worrying about being disconnected. It also means I can watch streams without them constantly buffering. Unless it's an England match on ITV of course.
