Quite correct. The 'banking problem' that Farage is describing does not exist. We have a media problem.

As per my post above, he wasn't refused banking services. He was refused value added private banking. The important point in all this, is that is not a story.

Is interesting in light of what @blandywas saying up thread about voters not wanting the truth. With ULEZ the number of people affected will be relatively small (and shrinking), yet a large number vote against it on principle. -
This is the situation: Everyone in this country should have access to basic banking facilities, as it is critical to being able to function in society. Farage is not being denied access to basic banking facilities. Coutts offer a value added service and have the right to pick and choose their customers. Farage is a word removed.

I would sort of disagree. I don't care about Dan Woton, because he's a **** arsehole, but I care about this story because he's a self righteous scumbag and darling of Murdoch/GB News who has been dishing out shit for years, but, as it turns out, is actually a **** abusive scumbag. At the risk of going further off topic, the point with Trump voters is that they don't care about any kind of sleaze. All they care about is that Trump makes them feel better about themselves. Whether that is enough voters to get him over the line is another matter.

Trump may say he's withdrawing all support, he may say he stands with Ukraine and will continue support. The only thing you can count on is that he will not do what he says he will do. I would expect him to be publicly as negative as he can get away with, but behind the scenes bury everything in paperwork and 'checks' to bring everything to a grinding halt. Whilst giving his mates lots of high paying jobs.
