    Great result, but they are bottom for a reason. Saying that, hopefully this can kickstart the rest of the season. Great win; 5 goals; clean sheet; players rested; youngsters and newbie getting minutes; could not have hoped for better.

    As a team, we have lost our mojo big time. Has no resemblance to the team that took us to 2nd. On a bad run at the moment, and Emery will need all his capabilities to turn it round.

    I know what you are saying, but you only have to read about that particular part of our history do realise the ongoing damage he did to our club over many years. Even many years later, it was disgraceful how he treated our successful players from that time.

    It was simply ego. And petty. He had no interest in Aston Villa's successful history. It was about him. He was, after all, a Director at Birmingham City before he came to us.

    Ellis wanted to get rid of anything identified with our fantastic success before he was with us. That is how big his ego was and also how small-minded.

    The round badge for me. The old badge - I fu@king hate AVFC. A complete abomination. The leaked badge - as someone else said - Emery's Yellow and Blue Army.

    We need a strong defence which does not look as if it's members have only just met. That has been our downfall in some previous matches.

    I already know there is a problem. Too big a drop off to our second string. We need 3 top level players to get us top 4 and keep us there.

    Very difficult for youngsters to get into the first team, It is a sign of our progression. We cannot have it both ways; if we want silverware or CL we need to buy elite.

    The 150 logo should be, and probably will be, entirely separate from the badge. After all, it will be out of date by next year.

    We absolutely do. Shame to lose Kamara for 3 games, but it is what it is.

    On the plus, side we have Luiz and Digne back, Luiz being our most important player. 2 of these games we should be able to win, but Man U could be very difficult.

    It was a great 3 points, but I wonder how many points this stupidity might cost us over the next 3 games.
