  1. Wow - fair play England! Totally deserved with that performance. Never gave up and attacked until the end to get the opportunity to win!
  2. His most recent album is a bit of a cracker too!
  3. a surprisingly good half by England, yet we still go into the break behind to Ireland. Furbank is by far the weakest link - how he’s picked over Freddie Steward I do not know.
  4. Episode 3 of Shogun was excellent - starting to see the relationships between the characters developing nicely.
  5. Best 25 minutes of rugby by England this tournament. Clearly worked on their handling and positioning. still don’t expect them to win this match but it’s all positive at the moment
  6. Sensational game of rugby - had everything! so pleased for Italy - after the first 20 minutes I thought they were already dead and buried but what a turnaround!!! So nice to watch a game with minimal handling errors and no kicks after the 3rd phase!!! Talking of which, England up next (to stink the weekend of rugby out!)
  7. Did not expect that from Joshua at all. The funny thing is, that will totally put Fury off a unification fight now.
  8. This reminds me, the premiere of Jason Statham’s The Beekeeper is on Sky movies today. expecting lots of growled bee puns, an outlandish plot and lots of ass-kicking!
  9. Sadly I foresee another Trump win. I hope I'm wrong as he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near an election process but that's America for you.
  10. Can't say I've had any streaming issues with disney. As for Shogun, it has started very well indeed, which hopefully bodes well. Just hope it keeps up with the same standard throughout.
  11. Just back from part 2 and thought it was far superior to Part 1 but probably down in part, to the plotline meticulously laid out in the first film (which I rewatched last night) I didn't realise how good Timothy Chamoisleather was as he absolutely bossed the role of Paul Artreidis. I didn't expect such a commanding performance as good as that. The whole film looked and sounded fantastic and luckily had some great actors more than doing their bit (Bardem, Ferguson and Austin Butler particularly) Would definitely watch again.
  12. Season 2 of Extraordinary is now out on Disney - loved season 1
  13. Did the same! going tonight to see part 2
  14. Apologies - I’m not a fanboy of the source material so that has passed me by completely I’ve found it enjoyable to watch
  15. Gravy doesn’t belong on fish?!?
  16. I was a little lucky in that my folks liked The Kinks, The Stones, The Beatles et al, my mom also liked Gene Pitney and The Hollies (both of which I have a soft spot for) and had a decent selection of singles on vinyl. My dad on the other hand liked the New Seekers… that was my alarm clock as a teenager. When that came on at some ungodly early hour I would be out of bed, showered and out the house within minutes…
  17. Watching Avatar with the family and think it’s pretty good so far (only 2 episodes in) - my kids enjoyed the animation series and are liking the live screen adaptation. As you say, they’ve cast really well and the actors have taken on the characters well.
  18. You couldn’t trust Joshua to win though
  19. What has Pep already done to Doku?!? The exciting spontaneous winger has already turned into a prime time backward passer! ManUre have buried one chance and done nothing else. city have been wasteful, with only Foden showing any real desire and ability on the ball.
  20. Lino Sousa? I don’t think he’ll be ready for first team football in the premier league next season. Hasn’t featured for Argyle in their last 3 games and he always thought he was bought for the future, not next season.
  21. Just looked at the track list - it definitely has some cracking artists on there. Will have to find time to check it out and wasn’t aware of its release back in 2021
  22. What are your thoughts @Designer1? it’s very ambitious and a tonal shift away from their ‘post-punk’ roots with a more danceable beat adopted, whilst still maintaining their wittily acerbic outlook. Theres some great tracks on there and it’s got better with each listen, Petroleum is my current standout looking forward to seeing how the new material transposes live.
  23. Anyone think Doughty from Luton is worth a punt if Digne gets sold in the summer? still only 24, can whip a mean ball in from the left and one of Luton’s better performers this season.
