    Gardener and Adomah out. Jota and hopefully McEachran in. Seems like really good business to me for what will be similar wages and just a 4m spend. Both would provide strong back up this season, Smith knows them well, and should the unthinkable happen, would both be good enough for a championship winning team.

    Are we thinking the only questions for the team are who plays DM and who plays RW? For me i’d have Whelan DM and play houirhane with McGinn, El Ghazi and Grealish behind Abraham. Green and Adomah do not deserve a place.

    My experience last year were that the early trains down were packed with huge ques so we had a couple of beers in birmingham and then jumped on the train about 12ish which was almost empty. We came back on the first or second train having run to the que but it was really busy as expected. This year I’ll be spending a few hours in London after the game to avoid those busy few trains. Basically everybody goes down early and comes back early, so do the opposite of that and the train will be the best option if you want to drink. If you’re not wanting to drink then I’d suggest driving to and parking in Banbury as they have direct trains to Wembley that haven’t started in Birmingham.

    Just got mine and my mates. They’ve released loads in the upper trinity too which obviously won’t be season ticket holders! I think there must have been problems on Friday . . .

    Sold out Absolute joke of a system today! I got on at 5pm, one of the first 200 in the random que but still couldn’t get a ticket as every time I tried to add it to the basket they were no longer available!

    Close this thread - it’s over. Play the kids, bomb squad the likes of Whelan, Jedi, Hutton etc. It’s all about building for next season.

    I’ve seen reports of Mings both with and without an option to buy - let’s hope there is an option to buy or what’s the point?

    Also, I can’t see Chalobah being a potential permanent signing - I don’t want any loans that we can’t make permanent!

    Can’t see us signing both - surely it’s one or the other to play with McGinn and Grealish in the middle. That said, didn’t Hayden start life as a CB?

    I don't think anybody really knows who we're after - this regime do a really good job of keeping it all under wraps! Of the links, I'd like to see Mings (on loan initially due to injury record), and Isaac Hayden from Newcastle. I's also like us to get back in for one of the younger centre halves - the French lad or Scott McKenna. Would a RB from the continent be too much to ask too? 4 in, probably no chance of that happening!

    Wouldn’t mind Mings and I really want the midfielder from Newcastle. At this point I’d give Tishbola another to too considering we need legs in midfield!
