I agree that guzan did used to make some brilliant saves that were eye catching....but even in his best season these would be balanced out with some very soft goals being conceded. At first glance he looked like a good keeper because of his shot stopping...but hus overall game has never been anything better than average.

Tell me why 4 managers have not regularly played this guy, who is supposed to be CL quality, during the worst period the club has had for 30 years? Clark & toner? Yes kozak has played 4 times...that was my point. Although richardson & sinclair are shit, they do track back occasionally...replacing them with traore and grealish would be suicide. It's worse yes if you're looking for damage limitation. That midfield is wafer thin, a striker who hasn't played for 2 years, 2 kids in the defence alongside an unfit, overweight okore who has a shite attitude...in fact the more i look at it the worse it gets.

This. I don't think people have blind faith just because he is brian little...it's knowing that someone who knows the club/game/fans, will have a better chance of getting the right man.

I don't think the fan base is already against him...the majority of people i speak to want him.over moyes...myself included. If we would have somehow managed to stay up this season then i think moyes may well have been the right choice...we haven't, & i think pearson is the right man to turn it around. Moyes hasn't managed in the championship for over 10 years....pearson is current, & he knows what & who is needed to get out of it.
