I think this place is great, definitely my dream type of property. Good value as well IMO, as you are buying 2 properties. Had a boozy evening last night in Brum supping some of Purity's finest. Longhorn, Lawless, Mad Goose and my favourite, a good few pints of Bunny Hop. I'm sure the headache this morning was a coincidence.

Not a bad place, went there a few years back to watch FCUM play there. Parking isn't too bad by the ground from memory.

I think it has always been tough for people to get on the property ladder. My parents first flat after renting for years had a £50 a month mortgage, when my Dads salary was £200 a month before tax/NI/pension etc Its only anecdotal to me, but people now seem to want to have their forever home, in a nice area, as their first property, and not work their way up. Just IMO.

Good positive story Rob. It would have been easy to stay in a loveless marriage if only for the financial aspect, but you gave it up for a better life. Fair play for starting again. On a separate note, i'm seeing a lot more people staying single now as they don't want to end up financially rinsed when they are older.

Yeah it depends on what level the means testing comes in at. If its £100k private pension then I don't think there would be a huge backlash from the masses.. £25k? Rioting I'd hope.
