He didn’t want to go there in the first place. It was the only escape route from Roma after some crazy fans turned up at his home. It was always a stop gap for him going there and I am sure Gala deep down knew that. For them it was a win win of a good player, and an inevitable profit come a year or 2. That said, all transfers are a risk.

The handling has been shocking. The fact they are thinking of waiting till next season for a full rebrand following CP’s exit, not so much. Work on VP, BMH etc. I get, but I think it should be the badge on the PL, Sky Sports, BT/TNT etc Reminds me of that season Everton had a new badge, then went back and redesigned the old with a sprinkle of new and moved on from there the following season.
