It has happened with many posters H&V me included as yes Bruce has frustrated the **** out of me and many of us have made our feelings known. We all know where we should be in the table with this current group of players and call it fickle or hysteria but everytime we see points dropped in such a manner in such a delicate season is what prompts the reactions. Many of us the same day also have had a few pints and our feelings are heightened. To question the man's language barrier is a little ott my friend.

So with the start of the window coming soon do we think any faces will be leaving us come January? Surplus imo:- Bunn- contract expires end of season anyway. Richards, Elphick, De Laet, Lyden,- contracts end in summer 2019 and Tshisbola & McCormack end 2020. If we can offload this bunch and recoup about £6m in fees and slice a big chunk off the wage bill too and allow us to bring in players that we will use.

I see where you are coming from and as much as I agree it could be a case also that Hogan's confidence looks to have gone, issues in his private life, unable to settle in the area and is it a combination of everything combined perhaps? I honestly think that if this is not going to work out between player/team/manager for whatever reason then can we really afford to keep him here in a hope that he does come good eventually, or do we look to offload in January? I too would like to see the player that we signed and why we signed him but personally I think there is slim chance of that happening now at Villa.

Hopefully he can start the ball rolling with his presence in the team and we dynamically change in moving forward once he is back. I agree he is going to come in very handy in the next few weeks.

I agree with points 2 & 3 that you raise here. It is very frustrating for us as fans, how must it feel for the players affected.

I honestly do see where you are coming from and it is hard not to agree with you. Like me you have witnessed the same shit for too long and reality is too hard to ignore. I also agree with many other posters positive team line ups for this game and on paper we should be taking 3 points from this game and ripping up this league. The reality of it for me is sadly the reality and that this squad on paper is led by a very hot and cold manager. I think we have the potential to spring a suprise and nick this only marginally by no more than a goal. It could be one where Derby have 46 shots on target and 76% possession over the entire game and score 1 goal, - Villa have 24% possession, 2 shots on target and 2 goals. However, my heart tells me don't count on it and Derby win 4-0 and it's a keep out the Steve Bruce thread to you all. As things stand. Things could go either way and it is just so unpredictable. We must get a minimum of 1 pt from this game however scrappy, whatever the line up and I am going to say this game will end as..
