Their pedigree as manager. Take MO'N for example. Certain players would have been written off hypotheticallly, but he knew how to get the best out of what would normally be mediocore players and make them look like world beaters at times.

As explained already it was tongue in cheek to Demitri about the sarcastic ratio argument and all in good jest. A tramps dog knows this group highlighted are finished in a Villa jersey. I don't see the point in taking this thread seriously anymore as rightly stated by many of you it has became a mad merry go round.

The rest of his signings (RDM) have been woeful, so Bruce has got the best out of 2 of 7 signings? Leaving us Tshitbola, RMC, Elphick, Gollini & De Laet as undesired wage collecting flops! You might agree that is one ratio Bruce has not been superior at!

Too low, again just to keep face that certain posters have backed him to the hills and now defend him to the mountains, lower our expectations that just making playoffs is acceptable and conclude Gabby Agbonlahor is the answer to our striker crisis! Mental.

He was technically a bosman, but I get the sentiment.. also it was down to us and Birmingham city getting him due to Terry eliminating playing for another PL team. But to keep in with your statement we have all had managers piss money on flops agreed, but to do it now on the scale Bruce has makes the eyes open more I guess.

I think we will be looking at loans mainly unless the Dr can find a spare million laying around to keep Bruce happy with. I wouldn't trust the idiot Bruce with Monopoly money.

Still wouldn't matter.. The fact he is doing this away from Bruce, in an equivalent league to that of the Vanarama Premier says it all about this player.

Pretty hard to piss up a £1m budget. In a way I am glad that is all he got, cause some of buys from the year before when he did have a warchest are just shocking.

How can you go by win ratios when they are range from different leagues!! In that case, let's hire the lad in Sweden Graham Potter who seems to be tearing up the country at the minute. He would give Gurdiola a run for his money once he got us back in the Premiership!

Dem that is ridiculous.. Comparing a manager from 2017 to that from 1939 over win ratios! Bruces ratio looks good from compared to last 10 years as all other managers competed in Prem League!! I am sure Rushden & Diamonds had a better win ratio the year they got promoted to the old Division 2 than a relegated Watford from the Premier League. Sorry the stats ratio thing is flawed my friend.

Dem, you have been posting on here long enough now to know hand on heart.. Put this exact same team, manager & coaches in the premier league and we would be lucky if we picked up 5 points all season!. He needs to go come May - Promoted or not promoted.

They are no Angels either... why is Bruce's pic not included? To be fair, most have those managers where from Prem league.. but still awful. Di Matteo just got found out. I wouldn't class him as a manager.

I don't we will ever be any kind of aide under Bruce. As highlighted by many above in different aspects, it is clear we have the wrong guy in charge here and I hope promoted or not we show him the door come May. He is just useless on all fronts and is just fumbling along in playing mediocore football on a hit and hope style it feels. I can't wait till he is gone, he has became one of the most confrontational, debateable and useless managers to grace Villa Park ever.

No work again tomorrow as this place is still an ice rink and no chance of getting to the unit, so a few bottles of cloudy apple and Lucky Man series 2 for me this evening. Roads are still tricky and where snow has melted it has now formed a deadly sheet of black ice. Temperatures hitting -5.c here.

I believe if we can turn one of the next 3 games into a win from an anticpated draw then all is still okay, anymore than draws in the other 3 games will be even better.
