  1. Can't wait for the season to start so we can discuss some proper subjects rather than how to rank our shittest players
  2. I think statistically, and visually, he was. They were all shit signings I don't think he was ever going to be good enough
  3. He plays an attacking midfield role, which is, according to Leicester fans, also Tielemans best position
  4. Disappointing, but this is why we've signed Tielemans so that the drop off in talent isn't too great when this sort of thing inevitably happens.
  5. Everton - Sigurdsson Forest - Gibbs-White West Ham - Haller Wolves - Nunes All these players either cost their teams over 40m or, in the case of Gibbs-White, will do so if they meet expectations So over half the league have broke the 40m mark. It is still crazy mind
  6. As others have mentioned above it was the season we came up. I don't think we will spend more than £140m as I think Torres and a wide attacker/ forward will be our only large outlays
  7. Very true Mind you, Maddison does come across as a bit of a dick in the interviews I've seen with him so he might not have changed a great deal
  8. I agree with all this other than the watching Cricket part. **** Cricket.
  9. Well, yes, but that's why I think Emery views him as lower down his order than Bailey. Coutinho is far too unreliable due to his general fitness to be considered important to the squad. We should try and sell him to some unsuspecting suckers and then run off laughing, just as Barca did to us
  10. I suspect that Emery has Bailey in front of Coutinho in his order of preference
  11. Of course not, no one's saying that. But if we go into the season with Mings, Konsa, Carlos and Torres as our options I'm certain that Unai will go with at least one of our CBs that knows the league, if not both. Do you truly believe he would play Carlos and Torres straight off the bat when he has two excellent options already? He has the luxury of settling them in and taking the time to do it
  12. Slightly different situation with Konsa as we had just been promoted so pretty much none of the team had PL experience For what it's worth I don't think there is a chance that we end up starting the season with Carlos and Torres (if we sign him) as our first choice pair, Unai will want to give them time to settle into his playing style.
  13. If you can't find music you like at Glastonbury then you must be into metal, It covers pretty much every other style across it's 60 odd stages!
  14. Only been the last two years but absolutely love it, top little festival
  15. Saw them at a little festival called Bearded Theory a couple weeks ago and was genuinely blown away by how powerful her voice was. I've seen quite a few older artists and been quite saddened by the quality of the vocals so was a very pleasant surprise.
  16. Hah, having someone's thighs wrapped around your head should only happen during sexy fun times! I can answer no to all those
  17. There are some actual flush toilets. In fact the portacabin types are relatively rare, most of the loos are long drops. The best are the compost loos as they smell the least and are cleaned constantly. The toilets are no worse than at Villa Park on match day
  18. They also give millions of pounds every year to charity. They can afford it but so can many other events who don't bother doing that.
  19. I have been eight times and would happily go again should the ticket gods smile on me! If that, and my love of music, makes me a twunt then fair enough
  20. Nah, they used parts of the Olympic to make the rocket for the fake moon landings
  21. If we go into the season needing Coutinho to be fit and firing then I think we have failed in the transfer window.
  22. He didn't have 'a go' he asked for proof of your assertion
  23. 7 goals across 41 appearances in all comps is hardly a record to get you splashing 50million+ and mega wages on. Yes, you can massage the figures so that you add up minutes rather than appearances but the fact is he has massively underperformed from what Man Utd would have expected. It's all moot anyway, not a chance we will get near his ridiculous wages and very little that he would take a third of what he's currently on. Leon Bailey had 5 goals across 36 appearances so pretty comparable to Sancho and we already own him
  24. You're right, in fairness Sancho has been so disappointing that it's difficult to tell whether he's actually any good and what style he plays. Every time I've seen him for Man Utd he's looked like a competition winner. Also, I'd reiterate, I don't want to sign either of Barnes or Sancho. I think we can, and will, get better for less
