  1. Agreed, our best player last night I thought.
  2. It's an internet discussion board, not the Sporting Psychology unit at Bodymoor Heath. People are free to give their opinions as they see fit, and anybody chirping up with comments such as 'fickle' and 'scapegoat' is a bit of a witless dullard as far as I'm concerned.
  3. I can't really see why it would make that much difference. His first touch is poor, and he gets dispossessed far too easily. 7 times in one half yesterday. That's not going to change just because somebody different is passing him the ball.
  4. I guess if he doesn't improve, then we just drop him from the team before he hits the threshold that makes the purchase compulsory. I can't see him getting much of a game when Ramsey and Moreno are fit.
  5. Not for the first time in away games, he got the set up from the off all wrong today. Kamara dropping back into a three man central defence and Cash trying and failing dismally to provide width on the right. It meant that the normal central midfield duo of Luiz and Kamara was all over the place, and McGinn was a bit in no man's land. Quite why we needed to alter the formation so much for Forest is beyond me. Anyway, it didn't remotely work, and our away form is becoming a little bit concerning. Drubbings by Newcastle and Liverpool, winning thanks partly to a sending off against Chelsea, and 1 point from 6 from Wolves and Forest. Emery has said we need to be a lot better away, then they serve up that abomination today.
  6. I hope Monchi has been working on a more effective replacement for the January window. Zaniolo seemed a bit of a last minute "better than nothing" acquisition at the time.
  7. He was dreadful. Worst player on the pitch.
  8. The voters made a decision in the last election, and they decided in rather huge numbers that they'd prefer almost anybody at all to Jeremy Corbyn. So that being the case, should Labour go down that route again, or instead pick a grown up, who as boring and non-commital as he certainly is, is at least a big improvement on a work-shy chancer like Johnson?
  9. Well done mate, that's excellent progress. I'm combining keto with running three to four times a week at the moment, and have my first 10K next week, a night race at Rutland Water. I find I have so much more energy on keto, knocked out a 24 minute 5K on Monday night which is my best ever. Want to lose another half a stone before Christmas if possible, as I expect the odd mince pie may make it past my lips.
  10. You honestly think that the announcer giving it a really half arsed boxing promoter style "Suuuuuuuper John McGinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!" is going to have any bearing whatsoever on the overall atmosphere? The crowd largely reacts to what's going on, on the pitch. Sunday against Luton was like watching a training game, there was more suspense, tension and threat in the average episode of In The Night Garden. And the crowd reacted, or more precisely, didn't, accordingly. Wait until we're 1-1 with Man City under the lights in the first week of December, with 10 minutes to go!
  11. Wilson is a miles better finisher than Ollie, it's just his injury record that has prevented him being absolute top class.
  12. Yep, truly dreadful. It's like the thankfully short lived goal music fiasco under Lerner and Krulak. They can stick that nonsense up their hoop.
