  1. How did that work out for you with Randy Lerner?
  2. I've always thought the Spurs badge was the best in the Premier League, and I still do. Instantly recognisable, simple and modern, yet classy, We should do something along those lines with the lion.
  3. But all of that is total nonsense, and if he is thinking that, he doesn't understand finance and business at all. Firstly, we haven't even qualified for the Champions League yet, and even if we do AND get all the way to the final, it's an extra six matches. So if we do that two years running, it's 12 matches. But then every year after that, you've got still got those matches, all watched by an extra 10,000 people, every single week for the rest of time. There's a reason the bigger more successful clubs have all got bigger grounds than us, it's so they can get more people and make more money. The North Stand isn't for purpose. It's decades old, there's no leg room in the seats and the facilities in the stand are atrocious. The hospitality is laughably bad. They could be making an extra £15m a year extra revenue, easily, if not more. All f which goes straight to profit for FFP.
  4. The design is atrocious. The 'AV' looks like 'AU' and the 150 looks like a cock and balls. It's a bizarre mish mash of old and new, and looks like something Randy Lerner would have come up with on MS Paint. Dire.
  5. I suspect the income would be a lot higher than that as there would be a big chunk of new hospitality paying £8K+ a person per year. But let's use your figure of £10m. All of that is straight on to the bottom line profit for FFP purposes, whereas the cost of the stadium isn't. Interesting that your solution for being miles behind the income for bigger clubs is to accept the status quo and do exactly nothing.
  6. 10,000 extra fans will make a huge difference, especially with upgraded hospitality facilities which are unbelievably shite in the North. The stand is terrible, and it needs replacing. What would the bigger vision be exactly? Heck hasn't got a single thing right since he walked through the door. I thought Tom Fox's communication skills were poor, but this imbecile really takes the biscuit.
  7. How does that make any sense at all? Build it now, and then when we're firmly established in the Top 4 every year, we'll have 10,000 more paying custmers and hugely better hospitality massively increasing our bottom line. The North Stand has needed demoslishing for the last 20 years or more, not doing so makes no sense whatsoever. It's an eyesore, with terrible facilities.
  8. How have you arrived at that fact, exactly?
  9. Imagine what 10,000 extra fans could do to help with that, plus massively improved hospitality offerings in the North Stand.
  10. It's got to be done at some point, as we can't compete long term in a 40,000 seater stadium. Most of the London stadiums are bigger and/or charge a lot more.
  11. There would be zero chance of identifying a site, doing the public consultation, getting plans drawn and getting it built in four years. 8 years minimum for most places.
  12. There's no need to feel down! At least we know who the Cowboy is now!
  13. Hospitality is rammed and you can't get a seat for love nor money. I tried to get some extra for the Fulham game and was told there were hundreds of people with their name on the waiting list.
  14. Dreadful short term decision, from someone who seems utterly clueless. All investments have a short term downside, but then in a couple of years we'd have 10,000 extra seats for ever more. We've got the 8th biggest stadium in the Premier League, and it's 10,000 smaller than the 7th biggest. To compete you need the extra revenue that extra fans bring. "We're adding too many seats, too fast." Utter, utter moron.
  15. If it's just being "said" it doesn't really matter does it, there was no excuse whatsoever.
  16. Kamara has only got himself to blame, but when you're 2-1 up against ten men, you don't really need your keeper behaving like that.
  17. Decent today, kept the ball well and used it intelligently when he came on.
  18. Note to Dem - a purple patch is when something good happens. This isn't a purple patch for Diaby mate, far from it.
  19. Well we'll be top if we see off Sheffield United as expected, and then a draw between Liverpool and Arsenal the day after will mean we spend Christmas top of the table. I haven't been as excited about the race to be Christmas number one since The Housemartins and Jackie Wilson in 1986.
  20. Nothing wrong with that backpass really, he had nowhere to go, and just didn't see that Martinez was as far off his line as he was. No harm done.
  21. Risso

    Matty Cash

It worked in one game, Burnley away. Other than that, he's been poor when played out wide. He remains a very good right back though.
  22. It was all needless though. We were 2-1 up against 10 men, and didn't need to descend to their level. McGinn's reaction to Bouba showed what he thought of it, ie that Kamara is a chuffing idiot. He didn't look best pleased at all.
