  1. I was at a festival a few years ago, and got some food from one of the stalls, When I paid for my food, I was only give change back for £5, rather than £10. I noticed straight away, and voiced my concerns, in a polite way. The person who served me, totally blanked me, and moved to the back of the stall out of sight. It was only me then kicking off, that someone else on the stall acknowledged me, and handed over the rest of my change. No apology or anything. You bought food from a festival and there was change from a fiver!?
  2. I can honestly say I'd happily retire now (30). Wouldn't get bored there's plenty if stuff to do/put my mind to.
  3. Anonymous have released a video threatening ISIS and Al Qaeda. Would be cool if they could cripple their online output that they rely on so much http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/france/11335676/Hacktivists-Anonymous-says-it-will-avenge-Charlie-Hebdo-attacks-by-shutting-down-jihadist-websites.html
  4. Sold out. Missed them by 10 minute apparently.
  5. So I finally caught up with the world and watched the official 'VT greatest film of all time' award winner 'Guardians of the Galaxy. Not the best film of all time, but a lot of fun and great visually. A bit more childish than I thought I must say though.
  6. What if the rule of law is binded by holy writ and those that blaspheme wind up dead?
  7. It's ignorant, but where has this happened outside of the far right?
  8. Well, that's just bad luck I'm afraid. All religion is fair game for mockery, and responding with threats of violence (and I've been on the receiving end end just for having a Saturday job in a book shop selling something the nutters considered offensive) shows just what a hateful influence religion has. I don't even know where to begin with the fact that people are offended by a cartoon of somebody who lived 1,400 years ago. Medieval bloody nonsense. If he lived at all.
  9. Blaming the US and Western meddling is fruitless. 95% of victims to Islamic extremism are not Western and largely Muslim themselves.
  10. If you'd been in the draw thread at the time you'd have thought they were Real Madrid.
  11. Did Muhammed even exist? Is there proof of him or is he a bit of a Jesus where he may or may not have existed? Or is he totally made up like God/Allah, Zues, Flying Spaghetti Monster, Skeletor etc?
  12. The fact that convicted rapist Mike Tyson is not treated with the same disdain as convicted rapist Ched Evans.
  13. Does that mean we get Helen Flanagan at VP?
  14. Anybody know how this is selling? Hoping to get one on Friday.
  15. Pretty hooked on this. I can imagine that is aided by me not playing Far Cry 3 though.
  16. Not excited for the film itself as I don't think they'll do it justice, but if she plays Major Kusanagi that is going to equal some serious boobage!!!
  17. I'm going to go and punch a mushroom.
  18. Morrisons is the best supermarket. However when I worked there 01-04 the music they played was dire. Usually 80's power ballads and the like
  19. The Korean subway is the best in the world...
  20. Quite. If, and I do say if, we get anyone this window it won't be a striker in my opinion it will be a wide player and most likely on loan. We could do with replacements for Gabby and Wiemann, if we are adopting this new possesion style football then they are virtually useless. They are good counter attack type players but asking them to make clever runs in and around the box when when we are having possesion is pointless, they are not intelligent enough to play that way and both lack any real technical abilty I agree, the problem as always is money. Wasn't it quoted (from somewhere) last summer that Randy would back Lambert financially in January? Cheap platitudes though aren't they really - he might chuck £10m at us best case scenario. Its hardly the £50m this teams needs to make it even vaguely competitive though is it? I don't think we're £50million away, we're a couple of players short from being a really good side (provided we're set up right), what needs addressing is the breakdown between midfield and attack.
