We really need him back to his best against Spurs, he was one of our best players before his injury and we have really missed him!! Should be Captain at the mo...a few bad tackles could of resulted in him being sent off today but that was lack of pace/tiredness. Will be better v's Spurs and I think he will be very fresh! We have been so unfortunate with injuries this season!

I am a father to a 3 year old who I dote on and love and support more than most dad's, yet you sum me up through one line? Even Dunne has agreed we have struggled with severe injuries this season. Yes we sold some quality players during pre-season and so, but to me that's not McLeish's fault, why would he sell our best players? Look at the team that played against Bolton, it was mostly kids... I do agree that McLeish certainly hasn't helped, but things for him could of been a whole lot better, if only... I do not wish to get into an argument with you, as it's not Facebook, so i'll let it be. In my 7 years of being a member of VT, you are the first person to somehow 'sum me up'. Lerner needs to take a step back and do what he did and had the same ambition as when he took over Villa, unfortunately for him as a business man he has many more fences in his way, IE Man City, Spurs and maybe even Liverpool. that's 6 teams (Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea) hoping to get that top 4 spot before we even try. 7 is a real gamble but it could get worse, other clubs like Everton and Newcastle are a good target for a business and to try. Lerner joined Villa 5 years to late, I am sure it would of been different now if he came 5 years earlier, but it wasn't meant to be and it never seems to. VTID.
