  1. The way I saw it, he clearly shortened his stride to make contact.
  2. They certainly do seem to have a ridiculously large squad.
  3. I remember Juventus being 2-0 up against Manchester United and Keane receiving a booking to miss the final, he dragged them back into the game and they won 2-3. I remember John Terry being sent off at Barca and Chelsea battling back and booking their place in the final. I remember Liverpool being 3-0 down at HT against AC Milan in the final. No excuses were needed there. At some point pride kicks in. The Arsenal players really are just a pathetic bunch.
  4. At this point we are used to it. Only a few more months now.
  5. All of nothing at this point, no settling for draws, no need to keep the points tally ticking over. No creditable well earned point. 3 points if we want to make the last play off spot.
  6. I don't think Gardner can do any job to be honest, at least not if we want to consistently win games.Jedinak should be wrapped in cotton wool next season, Ledley King training just for precaution. He is on a hell of a retirement package here, so I wonder with that too good to turn down offer, if we even tried to get him to retire from international football. It would be a huge benefit at his age.
  7. Didn't make the 11. Didn't come off the bench. Substituted on in the 96th minute. Last three games, not looking like a great piece of business this.
  8. Stan Collymore will always do what suits Stan Collymore. If Aston Villa are the biggest laughing stock in British football and he can jump on the back of it for some attention, he will do. If Aston Villa are riding high and challenging for top 4 and he can jump on the back of it for some attention, he will do.
  9. I do, he is consistently our only player who provides an outlet and carries the ball forward and is direct.
  10. I remember him being at fault for about 5 goals in our 6-1 rout of Sunderland, a few months later Liverpool signed him. He hasn't improved.
  11. Zlatan was well within his right to try and cave Ming's cheekbone in. In my opinion!
  12. Walcott is a loser, just like the rest of the squad. He will hit a purple patch a month every season and will keep out with all the usual bollocks about how has kicked on, how he is finally settled. You do that after you have done it for 3 years running, some players never come out with this horseshit after doing it for a decade. Walcott is the prime example of a pampered footballer, just going through the motions. Same player now as he was 10 years ago, and look at all the training, facilities and experience he has been able to draw on. Utter waste of space. How many times have I watched him in a qualified against those God awful minnows, who, as they just sit back with 10 men, completely nullify his game, quite simply. Horrendous footballer. Horrendous.
  13. Can we have one window when a player doesn't get destroyed within 2 months. Seriously, what is this shit?
  14. So this is winning. It a confusing feeling and a strange, fresh emotion. I think I like it.
  15. It is getting to the point now that no matter whether he plays out wide or in he middle I expect him to have zero impact on the game. Massive 6 months for Jack but we have been saying that for 2 years.
  16. Not really. Even if 'fully fit' Richards shouldn't be a stick on, and at this point I am not sure what a fully fit Richards means. It's been about 2009 since anyone saw it.
  17. That quote was reported to be fair, though I didn't see the direct quote.
  18. It would certainly be an interesting game should this happen. I wonder if he would dare to do his arm flap, blame everyone else antics with a real captain next to him.
  19. I cannot think of any position, any formation, any game and any set of circumstances where Richards would have a positive impact on the field. Not one attribute I look at and think that there is something there. Against Luton he could barely break into a proper jog. He is shot to shit, just look at his gait when he runs and his balance on and off the ball. Utterly done as a footballer. If Bruce cannot see this then that is staggering.
  20. Yeah he isn't as horrendous as he used to be...two weeks ago.
  21. 3 match ban is the standard punishment, and to give him that would be basically saying what he did was relatively acceptable. It wasn't. It was an utter disgrace, and to let him 'get away' with a 3 match ban would just confirm to all those ****s who threaten, abuse and intimidate officials all up and down the country it is as much a part of the game as any other 3 match ban offence. It isn't.
  22. I don't know what people expected...an example should be made of the idiot.
