    This has been absolute dross from start to finish. Relying on wingbacks for creativity just hasn’t worked. Target isn’t a wing back. Annoying this is - Spurs are shite. Son had a blinder to be fair.

    No update in nearly a week in this thread. What a player we have here! Ludicrous that Coady gets into the England squad over Konsa. Might not be the worse thing for us though with all the tapping up that goes on.

    We’ve seen that before - notably against West Ham. He can really be nullified if he sticks to the touch line and doesn’t drift inside.

    He has been very good and I am sure he will go on to prove what a player he is. Not sure I’d describe his first half last night as great. He was poor throughout for me.

    Yep - not missed a game (apart from the league cup) as far as I’m aware. He wanted his big move and didn't want to risk injury at the Villa!

    I think he didn’t overly celebrate after the goal because he was worried he was offside - he looked over at the linesman.

    Ballsy approach from Smith this. Pushing forwards and leaving our 3cbs to deal with their counter. We will rue the missed chances and they will score 2 or 3.
