    I don’t want to be negative, but that is 8 defensive players plus a presser in Mount. Really hoping for the best but I do not understand how Sancho or Grealish are not in instead of Mount in that formation. If Italy score one or two fairly early he will have to change shape and bring 2-3 players on straight away.

    Great defender and will only get better. Prefer Konsa though!! Wonder how much he is worth now? Villa doing things the right way £12 million - improve significantly - value goes up and up!

    One thing that I’ve noticed is that there are literally no photos of Jack and Mings together… Nor have they seemed to celebrate together at full time.

    I think we keep him for another year. Nothing has changed since the promises NSWE gave last summer. After this tournament I can really see Jack want to be the main man back at Villa.

    He evidently was. Of course he would be. This is the PR move because saying anything but this publicly would not go down well at all.
