Yeah totally fair point. That said, under RDM we found ourselves back to our comfortable old ways of losing and were spiralling down, that includes the fans who were just so fed up and could not see anything to look forward to. Bruce was right to come in and try to stop the rot first and foremost, he got pelters for it as it was boring (but it was a vital stage towards starting to win again) and it is exactly what Sunderland need to do. True though that other managers could have achieved this also, I think Coleman will be doing a Bruce pronto.

Sunderland this year, who have basically done everything we have done, are an example of what could have been had Bruce not come in. Their plight really does put last season into some perspective.

I'm loving the confidence fellas but if we're going on the principle that Wolves lead on us is no indication of them being superior then there are 11 other teams we are ahead of by that same gap - I'm always hoping but December is going to tell us everything we need to know.

Crouch all day long - has been scoring and would be ready to go. Can't see why anyone would stand in his way if he was offered a good deal at Villa, given his contract situation and his age. Also we may need him in the championship next season too.

Wolves have earned respect, they really have. We also can, it is possible - but we have to earn it as they have - we have to win , most of the time. Form says we will, injuries say we won't, but I reckon we can be the second club to go up, just need a bit of luck.

Or Wolves sell their best players for 4 times what they paid and the agent cleans up, delivering the owners a premier league club and themself a big pay cheque. Why else have those players gone straight to the championship? Big time money making exercise for a man who knows how to make money from football.

Think it'll be unchanged again, simply because there is no replacement for Davis and any tinkering will mean changing the whole damn line up and Bruce won't do that. Same subs too I reckon.

Bruce's style suits the championship, reason we won yesterday was because Sunderland are gash, better teams would punish the amount of times we gave it away.

Going to get a striker in now which we wouldn't had if Kodjia were not farked. I'd have put money on Hernandez but he is injured till Feb. Someone mentioned Gayle, that would be an incredible signing.
