Sticking with Bruce this term was a group decision - no way Tony was going to def off every senior person at the club who were all backing Bruce. If we don't go up then Tony is two years wiser in this game and can feel emboldened to go find the next Wagner etc, and he is just as enthusiastic about the young players - could be an inexperienced squad this time next year but we may finally get the football we all crave.

I'm not so depressed, the second spot race is intense and nervewracking. I'll be glad just to stay in the races for play-offs - I have a feeling we might be ready for them at the end of the season, with everyone back and players like Grealish with half a season under their belt.

Agreed on the football, not consistently good enough. But I do have some sympathy due to the injuries - we all know them but to list them out - our captain Terry injured, his back-up injured, Grealish and Green and jedinak from the start of the season - injured, Kodjia injured, Hogan always injured, even Mcormack who we don't even want playing for us - long term injured. Even today, our only match fit striker Davis - injured.

McBurnie might not be a big championship name, who guarantees goals, and costs £15 mill (cos that type of player has really worked out well for us) but if he can play the Davis role and give Davis a breather let alone competition then we will be better for it.

There's no form that says Derby automatically win this one - if anything the most likely result is a score draw. It'll be close and I expect a reaction from the squad with a couple of different players starting. Maybe we get some luck and take this 1-2.

Crunch time right now. This period of games with us short on strikers and with Chris Samba running on fumes, well the odds are stacked against us - but we've seen a reaction from this squad a few times this season so there's no reason we can't go get something against Derby. Gloves are off now, time to fight!

Think they will struggle to create much, so then it is down to adomah, snodgrass and whoever else steps up. Could be the perfect platform for landsbury now.
