  1. Sobered up and watched the highlights, Grealish is unique. Him and Hourihane are a great little tag team. Since his return he's been consistent and effective with space or without space. It's really exciting having a player like that in the team, we will always be a threat in this league.
  2. The reason some can never accept Bruce is down to one thing - Potnonomicaphobia (the irrational fear of potato and potato dishes)
  3. The leather coat and cocaine will keep him cosy.
  4. In a different context James Chester sounds like a wonderful upmarket hotel brand.
  5. Apparently he's getting better because of Agnew. It's like Agnew signing. (that been done yet?).
  6. After today's result I like to think Tony's removed the dust sheet and is moving the little buses around on his scale model of VillaLand.
  7. Add Ulloa and we will be favourites for that 2nd spot.
  8. so surreal with russian commentary
  9. Is this not just the equivalent of a mega stadium, where the stadium sits in the centre of a mahoosive shopping, eating, entertainment complex? If so then it means some very decent revenue streams for the club, 24/7.
  10. Cardiff away to Wednesday, lose there and a win for us and we’ll be third.
  11. If it leads to promotion, I'd take that.
  12. Was the question "what do you consider your best feature?".
  13. Bruce will be a legend if he gets us promoted. (Oh my what have I gone and said!)

    U.S. Politics

Looks like the end game is nearing, Trumps rather obvious pals have cooked up, wait for it, a MEMO!!!! A memo of 'ALLEGATIONS' - that will nuke the Mueller probe. But they can't release it because the democrats (with no power to do so AT ALL) are holding it back. It's big, and its very very desperate - so expect something even bigger in the opposite direction shortly!
  15. It's simples, if our destiny is promotion then tomorrow we will see Barnsley put to the sword convincingly. Honestly think it'll be a comfortable 2-0, possibly more. Our lot have had a steep learning curve and I sense they have a desire to win now, next time we lose it will be because a better team beat us, but that won't be often as the standard in this league is quite poor. OR - Whelan spoons it past Johnstone and we lose 0-1 triggering a spectacular loss of confidence and SHA overtake us in the final week.
  16. Yarp Former Newcastle managers Steve McClaren (50/1), Joe Kinnear (50/1), Alan Shearer (50/1) and John Carver (60/1), make the list, as do former Sunderland bosses Steve Bruce (33/1), Roy Keane (50/1) and Paolo Di Canio (100/1). https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/odds-next-newcastle-manager-offer-14169313
  17. Agreed, we've been in this position before and overconfidence/carelessness has cost us - I don't think they'll let that happen again.
  18. They haven’t enough time to fund the window, loans only apparently. Without the window they will need a miracle to stay up, Rafa or no Rafa. And no way would a buyer come in with big money with that looming, Ashley would rather take the 100mill tv cash and start again.
