You've only seen Tuanzebe once (Yeovil) at centre half where most would say he was the best defender. His partner that day was awful and gave away a penalty. There's a massive clamour for Jedinak not to be used a centre half again because he keeps making errors that lead to goals. So to recap. Tuanzebe has had one game at centre half and done nothing wrong. Yet hes number 4? I dont get it.

Exactly. Its like somebidy taking O'Hare on loan, playing him as a striker and complaining he's not good enough to play attacking mid. Crazy.

Literally nobody has said that. Rather that we know how bad Elphick and Jedinak are, who cost us goals in almost every game, so why not play a promising centre half in his natural position? If he's not a promising centre half, why did we sign him?

I can say that because if he's worse than Elphick than he has no future as a footballer rather than be highly rated at Man Utd as is the case. And Jedinak, again, is not a centre half. Its pretty straightforward to me. Our CB options are terrible.

I think we need to give the kid a break. Its not easy coming into a high intensity game off the bench like that. Yes he was bad but lets keep using him. Get his confidence up. I still have high hopes for him.

Based on what? Hes only played once at his natural position, did well and he had to cover for Elphick and Taylor who were terrible. He's got to be the second best centre half. Elphick is a liability and Jedinak isnt even a centre half.

Tuanzebe may be versatile but he is a centre half by trade. That's his position. Its not open to interpretation - thats where he plays for his club. Therefore why loan him and play him in a position where we have 4 or 5 credible options already, then play a midfielder at CB? Jedinak is not a CB. He does a reasonable job of trying to be but the difference is resulting in goals Im affraid. It is correct to challenge this if its not working. The argument that because Bruce and staff have decided its the best thing to do and who are we to argue is bollocks. Can we at least see Tuanzebe in his natural position in the league before deciding its not for him? We didnt need a right back. We need a centre half.

2 more after Bolassie, not including, I hope. Striker and LB I presume. Definitely need to abandon the Jedinak experiment. Get a new CB or at least play Tuanzebe there. Or both.

I hear ya. But it seems to me Bolassie has been effective in the PL and Snodgrass hasn't so much. Yet. Sometimes a players effectiveness is exaggerated by their skills but then assists and goals don't tell the whole story either.

Bolassie in his prime was a class or 2 above Snodgrass in my opinion. The question is how far away Bolassie is from his prime now. Because Snodgrass is still a solid performer.
