    Completely agree. Condescending demeanour is an understatement. And some of the football played under him was as ineffective as anything I've seen since the dark days of Billy McNeill. Lambert is looking at a long term strategy. I sometimes wish some of the fan base would recognise this rather than react to every setback. Very much agree but there will come a point if lambert has made no progress that it would be best for all parties to shake hands and move on. Eg . Come January if we are in the R zone would you want to make a change ? Nope.

    I just love him ! I'll never hold a grudge on him when he moves to a bigger club! Watching that interview just on AVTV of him answering twitter questions just makes me wish we were competing at a higher level. Just so we could attempt to hold on to him!

    The 'extended amount of time off hurt us'. Is this the lame excuse now flying off the shelves when the 'too many games in a short space of time' excuse is not appropriate? I wonder what the optimum amount of games in the optimum amount of time actually is! Probably 1 game in one week and 1 game the next week..

    Atleast it almost guarantee's we'll have him for next season as well. Is this his first major injury of his career?

    We 100% need to get someone in. An injury to Vlaar (more than likely) and we're back to Clark and Baker at CB = relegation battle.
