  1. How is that not a penalty and a red card for Pope??!
  2. Thought he was poor again today. Come on, Jacob. Will be a squad player next season.
  3. He’s poor but miles better than Bailey.
  4. A draw was a fair result. We weren’t good enough to win the game really but neither were they. We’re very smart in the way we play and I think Emery was happy with a point the longer the game went on. Some good performances. I thought Luiz, Watkins and McGinn played well (as they have been the past few weeks). Mings and Konsa were solid and Buendia had a pretty good game too. Not sure any of us learnt anything new from the game. Our fullbacks need looking at and it’s absolutely imperative we improve upon Bailey who is consistently the worst player on any pitch he walks onto.
  5. We will. Will be number one priority to replace Bailey. Traore will be gone
  6. At this point, nobody can be worse than Bailey. Nobody.
  7. Bailey is so, so poor. So poor. I can’t stress that enough.
  8. Feel like we can score a couple more here. I also feel like Mings is desperate to make a mistake today. Really flat match.
  9. Haha, maybe. But I think it’s unfair to blame Bailey there.
  10. Moreno and Ramsey have been poor down this left hand side.
  11. Yep. Pacqueta only has one thought in his mind, and that’s to wait until Bailey breathes on him and then hit the deck. Such a shame the referees are so braindead that they can’t see it.
  12. This a million times over. It’s not a penalty but because the officiating is so poor and VAR won’t make the correct decision, you can’t go near a player like Bailey did. Stick in the ‘clever’ category.
  13. I don’t think another season on loan would hurt. Rather him play 35+ games next season than a handful with us. Same goes for Ramsey and Irroegbunam. Personally, I’d send all 3 to the same team - like a Boro or Sunderland and just watch them romp the league.
  14. Just give it Giggsy ‘til the end of the season.
  15. Emery pretty much has to play one of Buendia or Bailey in every game given our squad limitations. I actually think Buendia has been a bit better recently but I’m not sure him starting matches is testament to Emery liking him as a player. Maybe he does, but it’s not like we’re overflowing with options. Bailey is the alternative in most games… Credit where it’s due, like I say, I think he’s improved a bit lately. He’s better than Bailey, or at least more consistent. I fully expect us to go and sign at least 2 attacking players in the summer window and I’d be surprised if Buendia is a starter in our ‘best’ XI next season.
  16. Nonsense. Same argument as Hogan and his intelligent runs. Buendias performances have nothing to do with anybody else. He’s been poor on several occasions and played well more recently. That’s on him, nobody else.
  17. Players not on his wavelength lol. Are you talking about our players or the oppositions when he loses the ball?
  18. I don't blame the club for signing Bailey. I really wanted him based on what I'd seen. I was wrong. He's crap. Maybe it was the injury, maybe it wasn't.
