  1. As always the early pages are full of gems. Gardner and Makoun being praised and delph being written off. Haha
  2. Where is that? Everything seems to suggest he is going to napoli
  3. I love what we are doing and have full faith in smith and the owners but we are miles behind leicester at this point.
  4. Yeah he'd be crazy. Look at Veretout when he chose us over leicester. Things worked out brilliantly for him. We have huge potential but right now leicester are miles ahead of us. They won the league a few years back.
  5. Thanks for sharing. A lot of what the press are reporting. Nothing no one is unaware of really apart from the ajax lb.
  6. Durham on talk sport bigging him up. Saying he is an english midfielder comfortable on the ball and should be playing for England. He is spot on when it comes to super jack
  7. @Demitri_C Joe Rogan on his podcast said he has a solid source and confirmed what you posted on here.
  8. Yeah. **** Delph, you don't get to come back from the way he **** us. Couldn't care less how good he is.
  9. Haha so true. 10 minutes ago didn't know who the hell he is. Now i'll be genuinely gutted if we don't sign him.
  10. Percy is probably the most reliable villa journo out there
  11. Happy with this. An improvement on any attackers that have left.
  12. Dean Saunders is not going to be getting exclusive news.
  13. I'd be annoyed if he was taking up a seat in the stands next season. The idea of him as a premier league keeper is both terrifying and laughable.

Maybe. My overriding memory of that game is up being a mess at the back and nyland at his worst.

I thought he was ok. His goal was more nyland being shit. For over £10 million this would be a massive gamble.
  16. I'll be celebrating 17th like i celebrated last week. Staying up is all we need to do next year and if we do it i'll be over the moon.
  17. Was he good before it? I must have missed the change. He's been utter garbage from his debut.
  18. Sorry just can't agree with this. He left us in a similar mess to how he found us. He signed Nyland, smith had to sign a keeper and recall the keeper who played a major part in getting us up because of Bruce. Laid no foundations there. In Defence we had a brilliant cb playing rb, jedinak in the centre and Chester's body is now damaged because of Bruce's stupidity in this area. It took smith signing mings, hause and recalling elphick to help us in this area. He didn't leave any foundations, he left a **** mess. In midfield i'll give him credit, mcginn and hourihane were excellent signings. However smith has got the best from them and giving Grealish the armband was a great idea. Bruce played his part in this one. In attack we had El Ghazi, who bruce got little from and adomah, who bruce tried to flog in august and then Green who Bruce didn't want for the season. Tammy was a no brainer and getting him was good but then when you think of the money wasted on Hogan it balances it out. Bruce also left a very negative fan base by the end of his time. His arrogance and woe is me approach to probably the best position in the league was disgusting and if left longer could have really cemented a negative atmosphere like lambert did. He left a mess with a few golden areas, which given the funds and opportunities given to him was shambolic on his behalf. Luckily Smith pulled off a miracle because the long term damage inflicted by Bruce could have been serious if we were down there for another year.
  19. The problem is, we take a big risk waiting to see. A goal scorer is key to us staying up, if we miss out on other targets waiting to see what might happen with Tammy we will be in trouble.
  20. With Sarri leaving it could affect the possibility of this happening.
  21. Gone are the days of Mon throwing huge money at prem players. Or lambert on cheap gambles and Sherwood with a mixture of potential or terrible people. Players signed under this regime will be to fit a system and will be the right people. Whoever that is I will back until Smith and Suso give me reason not to. In January they signed an injury prone lb, a young kid not good enough and recalled an unwanted keeper. It changed our season. Believe
  22. Good signing, he played his part and is a great guy (something we desperately needed after our relegation squad) but not offering him a deal is absolutely the right decision.
  23. Haha i really would. Probably wrong decision but if the right price and not the only striker signed i'd be up for it.
