System was working until the 1 minute extra time. Kodija looks tired. Which is worrying cause I'd want to put ayew on for gabby and move kodija to the centre.

Ayew picked up a knock in international duty so I'm not shocked he's on the bench. Surprised gabby is starting as I would of started grealish over him but we're clearly going for a counter attack. Silver lining - we all know how good Ayew is against tiring legs.

He's playing well at the moment. I can see/ I hope he plays tonight. Thailand is 7 hours closer than Australia and it's an evening kick off which is 5 hours later than the usual. That'll surely help with the time difference/jet lag.

Isn't he a free agent now? So all we'd pay is a small signing fee and his wages? Which would be no more than signing a player on loan? If that's the case i can't see us doing much in January, loan or transfer.

Jermone is one of the better strikers in this division but can't hack it in the PL. Gabby has proven when he wants it, he's a 'stable' PL striker. So in theory gabby should be able to tear this league up, IF HE WANTS IT. We're currently in a good postition that if he can't be arsed again, we have plenty of options that we don't need to rely on him ever again. Let him waste away. With ACON fast approaching we could have one of the better strikers in the league while we actually lose our best attackers. (We will miss them massively) RHM is still unproven at any level. He will get his chance but he is more of a risk than a proven PL striker. Smart move by Bruce if you ask me.

This weekend I would think both will be on the bench with suspensions and injuries

Can't see how he'd fit into our team. He'd be competing for the no10 role which RMc and Grealish who are both better players and we even have to play them both in the wrong positions

I wouldnt't mind Grealish and RMc both playing the no10 role behind Kodija.

With ACON coming in January where we lose 3 strikers/wingers, it's not going to hurt for SB to put a arm round Gabby. If fit, he would be an okay option to have on the bench. Gestede can't play 90 minutes and it'll be a lot of pressure on youngsters to score goals for us. It's been mentioned we'll get a striker on loan in the January transfer window, but I can't imagine they'll be any better than a fit Gabby. (If SB can achieve that).
