  1. he's the spanish shaun maloney.
  2. I want to get this about A4 and framed for my new flat by the cricket stadium. I think it came in a season ticket renewal pack but I would like a copy of this pic without the writing.
  3. Is this guy from Birmingham?
  4. I hope it is Moyes he's the only one who can save us. And you just know if he wants a player he's not going to go blowing smoke around this "football board" or Paddy Reilly he'll go straight for that jibbering coward Lerner, who'll say no problem David. It will be like that film the dammed United when the chairman turns up at training to find out he's financed 2 new players. Moyes will bring the glory days back. We will return to the premier league unbeaten without conceeding a goal. The team will be affectionatly known as the indomitable lions and go down in history.
  5. Unfortunatley this clown will be here for another 2 seasons at least.
  6. If the board choose a manager that is popular with the majority of fans there will be more tolerance, a longer honey moon period and patience from the fans if we get off to a slow start which is possible because everyones talking about getting rid of 90% of the players so building a new first eleven and getting them to gel is a massive challenge. I wanted Pearson to come in instead of Garde. At the time I remember reading message boards like this one spitting vitriol and threatening to never go to another game. We should of got Moyes when MO'n walked. This is the 3rd opportunity. It's like the Robbie Keane saga. When he finally landed here he was great.
  7. If Villa are serious about getting back to be competitive premier league team they need to get proven quality in and no more gambles like Sherwood and Garde. Otherwise we are trapped in this bullshit world of hire fire hire fire every 6 months.
  8. I can't see how "the football board" can be so thick and hire Pearson when someone like Moyes is available and gettable. The fans are not turning up (despite the bs stadium announcments thats there is 32k in there every week) The ones that do are protesting about the chairman the players everything. and we will turn our attention to them if they get it wrong. It's not going to stop in the summer. If we get a bad start the angry voices will be raised again. Online polls suggest 60% of the fans want moyes. We should take the placards and banners to the last couple of home games to spell it out to these stupid old grey out of touch has beens who make up the football board that Moyes is redemption. 32000 (sic) Moyes in banners in front of the TV camera's would pressure the berstein boys into action.
  9. Pearson was the man to bring in instead of garde. Sargent major to bark non stop at the likes of Nzogbia. "Run you bastards or you're dead in the dressing room!" However unless we are planning to keep those losers this is going to be a disaster. He'll be out by xmas and have lost the plot by halloween, espectially if like sherwood we don't hit the ground running. Only Moyes can be trusted to reconstruct the team in a few summer months and be afforded time to gel. If the board can't temp an out of work Moyes we are going to be stuck in a 6 month cycle of hire, fire, hire, fire forever!!!!!
  10. wouldn't suprise me if half the leicester team were. Playing non league football one day then back heeling the ball in the net against Germany?
  11. Next time we're on TV we need banners calling out Moyes. He's the only decent one, could you imagine Pearson or Bruce? The board tonight are obviously reeling from the public humiliation of the chelsea game posters. They'll be eagar to appease the fans.
  12. The problem with Jack, and it's the same with Gil, is when they lose the ball the just stop, gesture to the ref, or go down and stay down. I'd like to see him chase down the guy he just lost the ball to win it back or foul them at least.
  13. Just shows how much of a clue Eric Black has by bringing him on in the first place. I couldn't believe it when I saw him getting stripped.
  14. Moyes is the outstanding candidate. If we don't get him we will be doing this guess the new manager next christmas, then the following summer then every 6 months forever.
  15. All out for Moyes. The guy is a workaholic, big on discipline, plenty of contacts and has something to prove after Manure and spain. and he's at the right age. He'll sort the defence out first. and get rid of those piece of shít keepers. Zog Gab Richardson and Micah are all finished. However a cunning guy like Moyes would do what O'Neill did with Angel/Baros Tell him them they're amazing get a few performances out of them, before binning them. If we'd taken him in Nov we would be on easy street now.
  16. Our new manager bounce was a nil nil draw with man city. I was against the hiring of Garde at the time I thought a manager with experience of relegation battles was crucial. But the first game I was encouraged by the organisation and the one touch passing. However we soon reverted back to same old same old. Villa fans have gone easy on Garde for too long in my opinion due to the perception that foreign is better than british but if the guy was that honourable and dignified he would have resigned ages ago and left us with a fighting chance. At least O'Neill left in a hurry he didn't sit on his hands and wait till we were well over the cliff. Garde has potentially caused more destruction to the club as we are almost certain to miss out on next seasons mega TV deal.
  17. Pearson or Bruce were what we needed in November. Why does Lerner always flap?
  18. Garde doesn't help himself. I noticed we were watering the pitch before and after kick off yesturday. Why? to help spurs play keep ball with their slick passing?
  19. What a joke they announce the new board members like they're marquee signings. Whats the betting Brian Little will be wheeled out before kick off tomorrow. wearing a white suit and brown loafers.
  20. I protested tactically. I got up and left on 74 but came back to a different seat with a better veiw after the hordes had dispersed just in time to see us score
  21. he peaked after his first season. I thought myself he might be on the fringes of a call up. I even heard Motson on MOTD say something similar. That was the time to sell him for about 7 million to Norwich or Palace clubs who always buy midget lightweight midfeilders.
