I have a google + account but only as I was invited and wanted to have a look .. had a look and the result was I just couldn't be arsed to get started with it but tbh Facebook is tailing off as well from what i can see ..it was a great tool , for getting back in touch with people but it's kinda much nicer to go out and meet them in the flesh or chat on the phone once you've made that contact ... I still use it for friends / family overseas and when I'm bored etc at work but it seems to have lost it's novelty factor these days ..

:-) I guess for me the problem is I'm on limited time , ultimately I'm travelling about and taking a few snaps along the way and then moaning they are not a work of art afterwards .. the depth of field etc is something I need to look into , I tend to work on full auto and let the camera do everything for me .. though I could probably "shop" them a bit and give it something a bit extra in terms of composition ?? Despite the tip off I fell into the trap .... tbh the stag in the field isn't the sort of photo I'd take , maybe it's a personal style thing but I'd probably have deleted it (same with the sunflowers) , I tend to like my subject to fill the screen , though I then take you point about the surrounding landscape The animals doing something more interesting ... I met a photographer in Tanzania one time who had stunning shots of a leopard dragging a deer carcass up a tree ..only took her 4 weeks in a hideout by the tree to get the shot !! she had some amazing shots though

My last wildlife effort got crucified on here but here is another couple of efforts Ii quite like can't do a huge amount about the tree / leaves in the way , but what could i have done differently to turn this from "Ok" to "wow" and another and inspired by the B&W photos , here is the Potala palace given the B&W treatment .. I tried a night time shot of it which got horribly over exposed using my Limux starry night mode , it's a shame it was almost a nice shot and I can't bring myself to delete it in case i can repair it in photo shop at some point once I read the manual , if anyone knows a way then let me know :-)

can you post a colour version of it as well for comparison .. the "orange" roofs of Prague are what give it it's charm imo and there might just be enough buidling on the right hand side to bring that out

my brother will walk around and check all 4 doors even as he walks away from his car ..me i click the button with my car key in my pocket as I'm walking away , you can hear it beep when it's locked so if I hear a beep it's good enough for me he's the same with the house he will walk around and check every door and window , I just go out ,leaving my windows open all the time

we've just had our record ever August (in over 20 years of operating) , turnover this year is likely to be up around £300,000 on the previous year we had a tough 12 months but came through it without having to lay anyone off , we cut back on a few areas of spending and myself and my follow directors took salary cuts in order to assure that nobody lost their job ... not saying that is the solution everywhere but I do feel too many companies have no loyalty to staff and took the easy option or panicked
