  1. Well if Kodjia gets firing again, Adomah get his form big and Green was up for it. We might get away with it if we got a proper CB. Assuming couple of the young players step up (particularly Callum, Jake, Eiasah and RHM). But thats a dangerous approach to the season, it wont be as easy as last season and we are missing arguably our most important player last season in the attacking side.
  2. It doesn’t, as Liverpool themselves don’t whats going on. They just want to know whats the best for their player. But we can’t read much into that as it stands it seems he isn’t going but you can’t know what Levy is going to do.
  3. To be honest I havent noticed or heard of him before. But seems exciting.
  4. As Zeus has said, it might turn out to be a favour if things went to the right direction with our new owners. But really when I thought of it, even Newcastle had part of that by sending Mitrovic to Fulham. ? I remember the season we went down with around 11 games left, I was with a friend of mine, he told me what do you think? I told Im looking forward for the championship now. I think we only have one duty remain for us in this league, it was a bit strange for him that I’ve said it is beating Newcastle or draw with them and get them down with us. All of that reflected badly on us that day. Its like a nightmare when I thought of it. But still could turn out to be a blessing, we could say later on, thank Fulham, SHA and Newcastle. ?
  5. Its not only Brentford, when you think that weve been a spending force and took Fulham’s best player, to turn out to be a curse and in the end we fail to go up because of Fulham themselves. Whats more funnier is that we somehow failed to go up because of SHA too (indirectly). But tbh I dont get it with our managers, the seem to like buying players on certain areas which we have a big number, and get nobody in areas which we lack players. For example we have: Elmo, De light, Hutton and Bree all to play as rb. On the left side we are having only one who isnt up for it were we play a rb instead of him. In our first season we got McCromack, Kodjia and Hogan al by more than 30m. We need to locate areas which we lack players in (definitly CB, LB,Winger) as for striker if it was an upgrade of what we had, with a reasonable prices then im with it. If its a Hogan type then we have enough.
  6. Loans itself isnt a shame, actually I prefer it with the likes of Snodgrass. The 5 players you've mentioned wont go for peanuts, especially for the good ones (who would have problems keeping them). But with a good strategy we could be a feeder club but on our own way. Even Barcelona are feeding the likes of PSG. Lets take Jack for example, if we keep him this season, we need to have a plan on selling him, if we failed to go up then a quick solution on the summer, if we went up then we target another one or two years atmost from him (unless we done a miracle up there). During this period we should work on the replacement as an individuals or the whole unit. Tottenham cemented their place up there this way, we were on parallel with the on MON's days and look how it looks like now.
  7. We can't be sure that Adomah or even Snodgrass could play the whole season inform. Actually we've seen Adomah declinning toward the end of the season. Terry would definitly do worse than he did last season, and he didnt have a preseason yet. Anyway I would take the two of them for sure as it stands now, for the right wages, we will still miss Johnstone unless our new guy good is up for it. Will they be enough for promotion? Well, there are a lot of factors, we began last season without Jack, Kodjia and even Adomah was benched for Elmo. We will be having Birkir around, on the other hands Snodds, Johnstone and Terry had big effects last season. Also there is another factor, teams that are coming down arent Hull or Sunerland. We are still having Boro who would be a big threat. We cant be sure whos going to come with a new shape from those unexpected teams. Us, Wolves and Cardiff were lower midtable teams the season before that, all of us ended on top 4, the other was 6th (Fulham). I think this season is much harder than last season by the look of it.
  8. Which will be dangerous for our promising players as Grealish who they might strat throwing money at them. Anyway if we could somehow go up this season I think it might have been a blessing that we havent won at Wembley, new owner might have not come if that was the case. If we could keep the likes of Grealish and once we go up build the team around them (or have a big money out of them) we could go on the right direction. Things suddenly looked promising!
  9. Thats the problem, he only seem to play other teams young players.?
  10. I’d say a fit Kodjia is an add on Grabban, but yeah the other 3 are still to be replaced. The keeper we gambles on one as weve done with Johnstone and hopefully we have the better deal (although Johnstone would have been fantastic). Still to replace Terry and Snodgrass. Even a left back would be fantastic. Tbh, im not sure why is Bruce trying to play 5 at the back on friendlies, I would have liked him to play the kids more than the likes of Jedinak, we need a proper cb, without that we will have a really hard season to come.
  11. Who will play upfront in the first couple of games though?
  12. So when is he expected to get back?
  13. Still think we need a winger, we cant rely in Green’s fitness and Adomah who declined his form. Yet from what I saw last season and some highlights at preseason this guy could shine with us. I think we have some exciting youngsters, hope they all could adope very well, another Grealish or two will be fantastic!
  14. The issue isnt about Green playing insted of Adomah. The one who played instead of Adomah was Elmo, which says all to be honest. The issue was is he didnt rate Adomah at all and wanted to shift him even by playing an old right back at his place, to end up as our goalscorer last season. Thats the worrying part. He played Davis yeah, but who did have when he did play him? We played our last two games without any youngster featuring, the only one was our loanee Onomah. I dont mind Bruce managing this season he is a good man and gave the club a good feeling made the players care more, but he wont be able to build a team nor a playing philosophy, we just hope he can get his game right and plays who deserves, Bjarrinsion was his signing yet didnt realist he was a good player until he scored against Bristol?
  15. If its just the mirror then thats good. ?Remember we had Henry set to manage us two days ago. ?
  16. But to be fair, the team wasnt as strong as it was when he was there, we were have a bad season even while he wasnt starting with us.
  17. Even Jack liked it on instagram, hopefully the situation is that we could keep. Remember Delph didnt only liked a post, but he said he wont get out of the club. At the end we knew what has happened.
  18. Depends if we are able to get players or not, if not Im afraid we wont attract a proper name then I would stay with Bruce. The look of Henry as our manager could be exciting, but all connections wont help us if we cant sign anyone. Atleast Bruce knows this squad very well and he agreed to play youngster and this was one of issues not giving even some of his senior players a chance let alone young players.
  19. He also said this week that everybody was there for sale, so he didnt have choice by then. ?
  20. I think I got carried a bit, but definitly if Kodjia was going to get sold we should do something replacing him. I agree about the Grealish new contract, thats a must. But nothing less than 45-50m regarding the release clause ?
  21. He's still 22 though. And havent even played a proper season down there. He could still work more in himself and play in a higher level.
  22. We were against the FFP. I think we were one of 6 clubs, and if Im not mistaken one of them was, dare to say it, Fulham. When you think of what theyve done, you really have to admire them. We came and bought there best player, theyve paid nothing, yet build a team which everyone feared. I thought they were done down there when we took Ross, turned out we were the ones to laugh at. gladly we got away with it this time.
  23. Yeah I agree with that, there are alot of differences than the case of Benteke, Yet Benteke stayed at the end even with handing a transfer letter. Speaking about Benteke, depending on who Palace get, Why dont we get him on loan with a view of buying? No one seem to rate now apart from us. I’ve even seen him commenting about a picture on Instagram posted by Grealish saying (Great Days) which was the win against Liverpool at Wembley. Weve got Snodgrass last season on loan while they were rating him by 12m. I know Im reading a lot into this, especially when we consider FFP, but it will be the right move for Benteke and Villa.
