Cannot understand why he would give a interview saying Villa will get relegated just 2 weeks after leaving ,it smacks of sour grapes in his time here he contributed nothing positive offered the club nothing glad to see the back of him and can't wait for us to prove him wrong .

Wilkins is a tool ,sour grapes coming out with that after leaving ,I'm confident of staying up think we have the players and the right manager now only worry is haven't goals maybe ,also think there is definitely 3 teams worse than us in the league ,we are after a awful start but think we might be out of bottom 3 before Xmas even we are much better than where we are at the moment .

Hopefully this trip does the trick for him ,he has been struggling for a while now no form at all ,hopefully Garde can get him going again as he was very good under O Neill ,personally I think he is finished at this level ,isn't as quick as he used to be and he relied on that a lot ,he doesn't have the footballing brain to compensate for his loss of pace .

Would prefer to see Cissokho back rather than have Richardson LB.Actually think Cissokho was alrite there he was bang average but didn't do a lot wrong really ,Richardson is a disaster waiting to happen and Bennett is the same .

Agree with this think Ally Cissokho is our best option now injury looked very serious ,I don't rate Bennett or Richardson at all last player that I wanted to see pick up a injury not to mind a serious one

They might end up there eventually but they will have to get there through promotions ,

I think he is a better RB ,he tends to do overdue it at the back by dribbling his way out of trouble and getting himself into bother instead of taking the safety first option ,his decision making is also questionable as we see Sinday running out and not getting there which has happened a few times this season .At the moment he is still our best centre half though and we really have to play him there even though I still think he's a better RB

Think he is the best player from the academy the break through in years ,has hit a blip no doubt but is only 20 and only a handful of games played ,still has a massive part to play in keeping us up ,he has huge ability not the finished article but he will make it no doubt .

Despite what anyone in the media or otherwise says its very obvious that the British manager route hadn't been working for Villa .Mcleish/lambert/Sherwood all were a bigger disaster than each other ,poor football ,tactically inept ,bad man management ,poor coaching staff appointments ,you name it they did it .Realistically any of them won't get a job in the PL again ,that's how poor they were at Villa .Think it obvious like I said that the British style /old school manager wasn't working for us and we were only heading in one direction ,it was time to try something different ,Remi Garde is without doubt a different style of manager to what we have had in the last 5 years ,Every comment from managers /supporters /players that know him or have played for him is all extremely prositive.I cannot understand the media fixation with British managers especially with poor records such as out last few managers .PL experience isn't everything ,I wouldn't swap Remi for any of Pearson/Moyes/Big Sam ,I think we have ourselves a very decent manager and I know we're bottom but it's the first time I'm genuinely excited about Villa since the O Neill era ,it's a long way back but the fightback has begun .

In general think he has been decent ,was awful against Spurs but was was excellent all last season and again on Sunday,I actually think he should be captain instead of Richards .

Best game in Villa shirt has to start instead of Westwood much more suited to DM role .

Agree with this thought he got better as game went on.Needs game time,a work in progress but there's definitely potential there .

Is going to be a top player ,excellent going forward ,think he hasn't had much of a pre season and fitness might be a problem,think that was part of his problem in 2nd half against babas ,looked wrecked ,but going to be a top player.

Very impressed with this guy so far ,Seems very shrewd .Dont know much about him only what I have read but it's all positive ,got the team an tactics spot on today too.Looks like we are in good hands .

it was one of the reasons he wants out not racism but abuse his car got badly damaged a few months ago while he was shopping in newcastle and he put a comment up on twitter lately and the abuse he was getting from sunderland fans I think it eas in reference to comments on internet forums could be wrong on that one but his car was def vandalised
