  1. Play him next week, keep the players on their toes.
  2. Probably MOM today for me.I really rate the Stoke player he was marking, he tore us apart last year, and yet he did nothing. I'm not convinced about Hutton defensively tbh, but thought he played well today.
  3. Worked hard today, but i'm afraid he should have scored at least once, not enough quality. Was it me did they all work harder today?....good to see Keane get involved on the sidelines as well.
  4. Guzan Bacuns Vlaar Okores Aly Sanchez Delph NZog Cole Lestienne CB Top 8 with that team
  5. I like him tbh, but hes not worth £65k per week. Would be very happy with Sanchez, and if we can get Ki or Dembele, on reasonable wages, and ship out a couple of midfielders, then that would be tremendous.
  6. I think thats fair comment poitier. For me the central midfield is a big problem for us, thats Delph and Westwood. But i think Delph is a good player.
  7. Not a patch on Delph. Its interesting how people think that Westwood should play further up the pitch, in the Joe Cole role if you like, but has he got the ability to play there? He can't really beat people wityh skill, has no pace, and isn't particularly keen on getting forward, hes no Lampard player.I think PL will play 2 holding midfielders, Delph and Sanchez, a footballing midfielder in front, Joe Cole, and 2 widish attacking players with 1 forward. Its the exaggerated ability of Westwood that annoys me, for me hes no better than KEA, and thats not good enough for AVFC. Agree with all that Isa
  8. i Can guarantee that you will be telling me i was right Bunnski. I'd put a smiley thing in there but don't know how to do it.
  9. Stoke for one, lost his man for the 1st, wrong position for the 2nd, not marking space for the 3rd...Fulham, gave the ball away, then failed to close the player down, 2 defeats. Apart from scoring against the Albion, i can't think of anything else he did positive.Hes an average passer at best, and i can guarantee that the midfielder we are trying to sign is to replace Westwood. If we get Sanchez/Ki then Westwood won't be in the 1st team. You rate him, thats fine, doesn't mean we all have to.
  10. Incredibly overrated player. For me the sooner he is out the team the better. Is incredibly poor defensively, gave so many goals away last year i lost count, has limited passing ability, not one assist last year if i am right apart from set pieces, is weak, slow, and ineffective. Hopefully Ki or Sanchez will play alongside Delph next season, and we buy a better attacking player to play in front of them. Nothing against Westwood personally, but i find it incredible how rated he is by some on here.Lambert might have had a soft spot for him, hopefully Keane can see how limited he is., would prefer GG tbh.
  11. Without getting into the Clark vs Baker debate, imho Baker has give far less goals away than Clark in watching them the last 3 seasons, and indeed his last ditch tackles have saved us on a few occasions.Remember the QPR game which we went on to win, he must have saved at least a couple of goals in that game. Clark reminds me of Dean Glover, but not as good.
  12. For me i'd let Clark go 1st, hes 25, and frankly never looked much cop.
  13. I'd let Clark go, and probably Herd as well. A wolves fan i was talking to said that Batth is the best player to come out of their academy since Keane. Also another Wolves fan who knows Batth, not that it matters, says hes a Villa fan
  14. When you get to over 50 your memory goes Vive.........but you got my point
  15. Last year in key games, his touch let us down and cost us points, Hull away, and WHU at home, at 0-0 in both games, 2 good chances , 2 awful touches, should have won both games, lost both.In the last 3 seasons he hasn't improved, in fact he has deteriorated. His touch , for a professional player, is disgraceful, his movement is non-existant, his awareness poor. Overall he is/has never been a £50k per week footballer, time to move him on imho, i would rather play Robinson or Grealish
  16. Was Sanchez the no 6? Very impressed with him against Ivory Coast, played very well against Yaya Toure......good enough for me.
  17. Sanchez is a cracking defensive midfielder....absolutely flattened Yaya Toure in the WC, disciplined with limited passing, but a great signing if we can make him. He was the one player i watchedd in the WC, that as a realistic target, i would have liked us to sign, hope it comes off.
  18. Lplop and Ure supporters are the most delusional and uneducated football fans going. The only time they rate a player is when he plays for them, or they are told to rate them. They are just sheep. Cissokho, at 26, for £2m, is a good deal.
  19. When he was at Lyon he was very highly rated and much saught after.I'm sure GH was linked with him.For £2m a good deal imho, although i think there is still a player in Bennett. Time to let Clark move on now imho.
  20. No Pace, no acceleration. All players had to do was stand him up then push the ball past him, he had no recovery pace.Good at going forward, good cross, but not good enough defensively imho for a Prem Lge FB.
  21. Its what he didn't say....."Happy at VP", "Ambitious club", "Going forward", etc.........instead its," i will sit down with my agent".This implies to me he is off.Hopefully i'm wrong, as i think he is a good steady CH.
  22. I don't, but the way he was talking didn't sound like someone who was going to stay tbh.
  23. Falcao, Coutinhio, the list could go on Omariqy
  24. Reading between the lines Vlaar is off, if we can get £5m+ then we have done well tbh. I like Okores, so the most important thing is to get someone to complement him.Lescott would have been ideal. Whats the Celtic CH, Ambrose like, if not maybe the Coloumbian CH who plays for Inter.
