    Being realistic he did as well as he could today. Theres not enough good players on the ball, hopefully, if we stop up, he can rectify it.     Hes a decent man, who transformed our season last year, and certainly deserves more support and respect than he gets off some of our so called supporters. If this Sammatta is any good, and with McGinn back, and with SJG getting better every game, I think we will be fine.

    In my time of going down VP , approx. 50 years, I have seen only 2 truly world class players in our colours. Paul Mc Grath and Sir Jack, I don't know if you saw Andy Gray after last weeks game, but he completely summed up my views about Jack. He could get in any team in the world, and is worth at least £100m

    Well cant argue with that Dale, but of the 3 who started, considering hes not played for 10 m0nths, he put himself about a lot more than the other 2.

    Watford have physicality, and Deeney and Delefaeo,.They have a lot more physicality than we have. My main criticism of DS that he has not brought in at least one nasty bastard in the centre of the park.

    Still our best midfield player today. We are very, very poor in midfield.

    You look at the energy that Citeeehhh put in to win the ball back on the rare occasions that we did get the ball, how many times they fouled Jack in our half, and contrast that with the effort CH and DL put in.........pathetic. The reason why we have had more shots against us is because the midfield is too lazy.

    I would try and get in Eze and Benrahma asap, look for a mobile, fast forward, and 2 good defensive midfielders, might wait and see if Drinkwater can develop Luiz first though.

    I was unsure he was worth £26m if i'm honest , but I think he is a proper man, and a proper leader. Konsa and Hause will both become better defenders, players and men because of him. Its good that we have 2 proper captains/leaders on the pitch. We are not far off a good team, a couple of astute signings, and we should easily survive.

    1st rule as a defender, defend. Stones is good on the ball, but a shit defender, Southgate was better on the ball than Macca and Ugo, but they were both superior defenders.

    Proper defender, 21, future England international for me. Suits him playing in a 3, and TM is perfect alongside him, because he does lose concentration at times, but I really like and Konsa.

    So so, looks off the pace, and a bit slow in thought as well. Hes only 21, and is hihly regarded by such pundits as Guillam Baligiue, but I have yet tosee anything that justifies that belief. Keep him, but replace him for this season.

    System suits us, Jack, Fred, the back 3 and Goalie 9 points each, the rest 4 each.
