Whilst we continue to invest in our academy a newly promoted premier league club will be closing down their own. Our Academy is something to be very proud of.

Relatively happy with the interview. However this part scares me the most.

He has wonderful ability however with the amount of games he would have to play and the physicality of this league i cannot see him lasting. He would need to be wrapped in cotton wool to have any serious impact over the season.

Wilshire would not last in this league

If we ever get promoted I would love to have Paul Clement as our manager. One of the best coaches in this country and knows how to set his teams up to play the right way. His contacts throughout world football is second to none. He would do wonders here if we were to get promoted.

Well it looks like Xia is already looking at his next options

Keith Andrews said something very brief and interesting after the game last night. He pretty much said that Bristol looked the better side because Lee Johnson is a manager that likes to get on the training pitch to coach his players hence why there was always a man waiting to receive the ball whereas Villa were the total opposite we lacked cohesiveness and ideas as a team. Come to think of it when was the last time Villa have had a manager that could really coach his players on the training pitch? SB is a man manager, RDM was a pretender, Remi Garde perhaps? In hindsight we should have really thought about the management from last Summer.

He bullied the s*** out of Baker He is going to have a good career in this league and perhaps the premiership.

We played some good stuff in the second half. I don't know what to say right now with promotion.. I am not happy with Bruce.. But I cannot bare the thought of another rebuilding process this season. Whatever happens.. happens. I will support the team, players and manager. We have Grealish,Jedinak and Kodjia to come back.. All three played a big part here last season. *Sighs*

Not impressed with him as a player.. He is probably great to have around the club ect but as a footballer he has not impressed. He looks weak, slow and complacent.

This is league far too open at the moment. It's hard to call who will get promoted. Most teams are as good as each other. Fulham, Boro, Reading, Hull & Wolves all losing today.. We have as good of a chance as anyone. This league is tougher than last season

He is key to us having a good away form. Hopefully he will be available for the bristol game.

Terry made a few mistakes to be fair. Feel for Chester a bit.

Potentially we have wasted a lot of money on him as well as RMC. Imagine who we could have signed if we had not signed these two? I don't want to write Hogan off yet but unless he plays alongside Davis or Kodjia, it is not going to work out for him here.

Happy that he scored. He needed that goal for confidence. He played some nice passes on the left and was part of some attacking moves. Well done!

He is only 19 years old. He has a bright future in the game.

He convinced me against Brighton last season. He is a Championship level striker already. Let's hope we see more of him this season. He could be a player for us.

We look a lot better with a target man. Davis has contributed to our build up play. Hourihane, Green & Davis have looked good. Honestly, I feel like the club have wasted a fortune on Hogan. Not because of his ability but because he does not fit into our system.
