    He needs to diversify his game.. I would like to see him improve his passing in attacking positions.. Can he switch play? Use outside of his foot to put the ball into the box? He is a top 8 player but he needs to improve his passing and movement off the ball..

    I agree with you, we are accustomed to this type of outcome. Ive seen enough from the coaches and players to know in two weeks the mood and results will be completely different to what we are facing today..

    It takes a certain mentality to have that killer instinct away from home.. We don’t fully have it yet. Players like Emi, Watkins, Pau have it.. This is what separates top 4 to the rest of the league.. We as fans are learning because we haven’t been in this situation before and we are understanding what it takes to be a top4 team..

    We can’t win every game.. The squad can’t sustain a peak for the entire season.. We can still finish in the top 4.. Newcastle lost at Luton & United still have Ten Hag in charge

    Honestly, I am still trying to get my head around a CB that excels in passing more than defending. During 1v1 situation on the break he gets twisted pretty easily which means he requires cover.. Because he is so elegant and gifted as a ball playing defender its one of those situations that if we win he gets the plaundits for a masterclass performance. I am not convinced by his defensive abilities.. Rarely do I see him win aerial battles or get the better of a player in 1v1 situations.. I am optimistic that he will find his feet in terms of the defensive side of the game. Offensively he offers something that no other Defender has in a Villa shirt..

    As great as it would be, i don't think our squad is ready for Champions League & Premier League football .. We are just about getting results at Europa Conference level.

    We look scary at home.. If we get players back fit and stay healthy we are going to be very competitive! I will say two more top additions at right back and CAM and we are primed to be a top 4 team..
