Zatman
true but he has won 2 titles and more than likely a 3rd one pretty soon and has never finished outside the top 2. He has won the same amount as Pellegrini who has been only in league a season and a half and Ancelotti who did less for Chelsea has won it 4 times also people forget the season before 2004/5 Chelsea had money with Ranieri and didnt come close to winning the league

Zatman
when you finish 4th with Melchiot, gronkjaer etc and replace them with top players like Veron, Crespo and Mutu I would expect a higher return if im honest
HanoiVillan
true but he has won 2 titles and more than likely a 3rd one pretty soon and has never finished outside the top 2. He has won the same amount as Pellegrini who has been only in league a season and a half and Ancelotti who did less for Chelsea has won it 4 times also people forget the season before 2004/5 Chelsea had money with Ranieri and didnt come close to winning the league Again, though, two clear possibilities present themselves: 1) He's harmed by his own brilliance, ie. everyone is comparatively unimpressed by strings of Chelsea wins because they just expect them, 2) His strings of wins have unluckily coincided with other managers getting strings of good results, which were in themselves more surprising, ergo more worthy of a 'manager of the month' award. I don't know why anyone cares. He's one of the greatest managers ever, and even people who don't like him can't really argue against that. When he retires, and looks back over a deeply successful career, he's hardly going to be disappointed that he didn't win more Manager of the Month awards. It's in an 'interesting stat' thread, because it's a bit interesting and a bit surprising. Until you'd read it on this thread and somebody had asked you "who has more Premier League Manager Of The Month awards, Jose Mourinho or Gordon Strachan?" what would you have answered? Nobody is kicking off over it.

ViolaVillan
The Man City v Villa match was the first time in PL history that there have been goalscorers from 3 separate South American countries.
The_Rev
If you organised all the champions in English football this season going down to the Conference North/South this season in alphabetical order, quite incredibly Chelsea would be bottom. In fact they were the only division winners whose name didn't start with the letter "B" Chelsea Bournemouth Bristol City Burton Albion Barnet Barrow Bromley
