Lambert's Lions are ready to roar this season with the new term agonisingly close to beginning. Lambert has the likes of new signings Ron Vlaar, Brett Holman, Matt Lowton and Karim El Ahmadi available for the penultimate warm-up match on Saturday August 11. The boss will be looking to use the Bremen match to sharpen up his troops as they eye the challenge of West Ham on August 18. Villa's in-house media channel is screening the whole 90 minutes against the Bundesliga team for your viewing pleasure. Vlaar will be looking to further settle into the back four before the big kick-off and El Ahmadi will hope to continue his impressive start in claret and blue. Holman has been a revelation with trickery and deftness of touch on the ball - and an eye for goal while Lowton can clearly defend and isn't scared of bombing forward when appropriate. Check out Lambert's new troops, as well as Darren Bent, Ciaran Clark, Stephen Ireland and Charles N'Zogbia as they complete their preparations. AVTV is free for season ticket holders.
