A game we probably should be winning, we had chances but so did they. Another poor showing from N'zogbia however Hutton looked better than expected. Just think the midfield was too far away from the front two for much of it and Bannan was unlucky to be taken off.

How can anyone defend that stat? Let's remind ourselves we played Newcastle at home.

Also, this goes to show that McLeish's tactics not only fail, but our defence are useless too. The only strong aspect in our team is Given and it shows. Yet again he has saved us from a defeat more times than our defence ever wish they could.

Cue all the UNBEATEN run bollocks again without realising that performances like this are relegation form and we will be punished in the entire season if this keeps up.

Given man of the match, says a lot.

The way we played, a draw is a good result. Defended for large periods of the game and were poor going forward. Didnt really test the Newcastle keeper.

Hutton was decent enough and apart from a couple of mistakes Warnock played well.

Zog showed glimpses of what he can do when on form but most of what he did was awful. Delph would be a similar summary.

All in all no where good enough at home, sorry for the Villa Park crowd they deserve better.

Albrighton is so frustrating fouled every time it came near him, benty finishing poor, still undefeated though

there is no benifit to being undefeated if you can;t win games! we had 9 points after 5 games last year despite losing 2 and that was a very average season for us- we only have 7 now...
