steve-67
I think it'll be Houllier. I can't see it changing. Depends if the board are as taken in as some others have been with two wins from the last two games
Nigel Posted May 23, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted May 23, 2011 I hope it is Houllier. The plans for quality new players to entice Ash to stay have got me excited now, especially after January!
Morpheus
Did folk want Coyle? I'm surprised we finished up them. Well if 'we finished up them' then we really are in the shit for next season.

Maradona10
Mat Kendrick Lerner strongly expected to rubber-stamp Houllier's return to #avfc management duty at a meeting early next week Think he's staying guys.

Stu_The_Villan
Good. Now onto the matter of signing players!!
juanpabloangel18
It's definitely not good IMO. It's nigh on bloody disastrous
Shillzz
It's not my choice, admittedly. BUT, if its a choice between Houllier coming back now, and us having a proper pre season, or a new manager coming in sometime in August with no preparation for the job (e.g. signings scouted etc), then I'll take Houllier staying. Chindie Posted May 23, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted May 23, 2011 If true, will be an absolutely idiotic decision.
juanpabloangel18
edit - @shillz ...But then potentially 'retiring' a month into the season? It's a load of shit. Don't want to count my chickens etc but if this is true, then my finger is firmly pointing at Randy
AshVilla
Fail on behalf of the board if true.
steve-67
Obviously, Gerard wears the trousers in the Houllier household!!
Shillzz
Sounds like Lerner's decision may be being clouded by a couple of meaningless results at the end of the season. The correct decision would be to have new management appointed by the end of June, but one way or the other, I dont think this summer is going to go how we'd all like it to. islingtonclaret
**** hell. Disaster. A couple of good wins at the end of the season really shouldn't let the board forget what was happening at this club 2 months ago.
