I don't think we are any closer to getting anything completed, and it certainly won't be done until at least the summer based on the interview D'OL just gave on the TV, talking about how we had to get to 40 points asap and then

We don't not what will happen in the summer, or whatever

This is now beyond any reasons and any business...it is a new farce signed Aston Villa FC!

No deal yet...nothing at all! How come that Villa are incapable of everything when it comes to business? Surely it would be a que to buy Villa...but why arent anyone interested?

There must be something else that stops interested parties to take over...

I guess that AVFC arent no where near as healthy as Ellis has been bragging about.

Did anyone see the story in one of the tabloids today that Birmingham are going to be put up for sale as Sullivan and Golds want out? Not sure what to make of that one - bet if they do put it up for sale, it goes through before anything at Villa.

Hopefully villa will be sold before they put it up for sale. Then Ellis can use his new found wealth to buy blues. Now that would be funny.

He was also on their board in the 60's. Guess he just can't stay away from his beloved Small Heath.

Guaranteed for how long? Just this season?

Here's a conspiracy theory for you:

The negotiations are stalling because Villa have not yet plumbed the depths. The new owners want Villa in the prem, but just above the relegation places. Why? The answer is 2-fold:

a) They have a case for lowering the asking price

B) They will look the part of "Messiahs" in fans eyes by simply investing a few bob in the squad and raising our standing in the prem.

..... gotta stop licking those frogs.... :winkold:

unless this takeover goes through, we stand a chance of relegation next season.

we will end up like west ham, a team many thought was to big to go down, but it will happen
