RichardCanning
"I think that Champions League football is a realistic possibility at Villa Park within three years. I would love to see them back in Europe." Fingers crossed people, wonder what the in-breds from across the way are thinking at present. Mwahaha! David-Copenhagen
Talks are at due diligence stage, i.e. going through financial accounts. Michael Neville can't see that anything will hold up the deal and should be done by new year. Ellis is said to have been "most charming and helpful" throughout negotiations. Neville says Champions League is a realistic possibility within 3 years. He must be planning on spending a bit! Nice to see that he knows we nned work before we will succeed. Demitri_C
"I think that Champions League football is a realistic possibility at Villa Park within three years. Jose~Mourinho
Lets hope it's true. Our club is sadly going nowhere at the minute. (Besides down) Lets hope Santa (the takeover group) has a quality central defender in his Christmas stocking saved for the Villa in the gift giving feast that is the January transfer window. Jose~Mourinho
Neville says Champions League is a realistic possibility within 3 years. He must be planning on spending a bit! And getting a manager capable of putting us there While I like many are starting to question David O'Leary's position as manager of Aston Villa it's worth noting that he managed Leeds to a Champions League Semi-Final. ahamaad
Due diligence stage, ie accounts being looked over with a fine tooth comb. Wonder what they will find? Insurance policies on dodgy players? Dodgy medicals? :winkold:
LancsVillan Posted December 23, 2005 Moderator Share Posted December 23, 2005 Oh the weather outside is frightful But the fire is so delightful And since we've been waiting so Let Him Go! Let Him Go! Let Him Go! It really showed signs of stopping But the Comers are still shopping The fans were feeling way down low Let Him Go! Let Him Go! Let Him Go! When he finally says goodbye How I'll love going out in my shirt But if you'll really hold me tight At last we'll be rid of that shite The ellis years, slowly dying And, my dear, we're still goodbying But as long as I'm a Villan Let Him Go! Let Him Go! Let Him Go!
