You want me to list them all? Milner, Beye, Luke Young, Davies, Heskey, Sidwell, Shorey, NRC

Yes and they are all for sale... Get rid. I wuld keep Davies though.

Not that simple though is it and don't see many people coming in for them (except Jimmy obviously) potentially because they haven't seen them play for 12 months or more.

indeed, we're in a right mess to be honest

just a thought... if he dosent leave. does any1 think that he will play absolutely play out of his skin just to either prove he is worth 30mill and stick it to man city or to try and engineer a move anyways??

could be possible considering the type of player that he is.. and that would be a very win win situation for us, getting a great season out of him again and increasing his value even more.. of course then we could be in the situation where we break the top 4 and then thats a whole other story..

any1??

I wouldn't expect anything less than a professional approach and neither would the club I think if this quote from the General is anything to go by " Regarding James Milner: No matter what happens re. Milner...and NOTHING has been decided...I promise!! James has conducted himself as a true professional. He has kept his head down and is watching what happens with interest. He has worked his socks off for us and I have a lot of respect for the man"

Heskey played in the world cup and shorey has done well for forest.

Yeah, but you have shown time and time again that what you think is completely worthless. At least in two years time, 14 year old Jack Grealish will be the saviour for both Villa and England........

If that happened then he'd have one year left on his contract next year. So I doubt his value would be higher than it is now.

:D if you don't like my opinions then don't respond to them, I was informing others posters of a terrific young player in our academy

Thanks for posting the quote again Richard, I've mentioned the Generals comments about JM a few times but it's good to keep reminding ourselves that Milly is respected and valued by the club. :thumb:

Interesting comments from MON today re the Milner transfer. One aspect though was that according to some people MON was responsible for all transfer negotiations and wasting of money. It certainly doesn't seem to be the case

So if he stays, we wont have money for a new striker, lovely

:D don't worry mate hopefully this season will be his last, fingers crossed

To be fair, a long season is way too long to wait :winkold:

Yes, horrible isn't it, the football season. I'd much rather spend my time whinging like a little bitch on a message board.

Of course its not. He can take the blame for not utilising the players on the pitch (however i dont think utilising them any different would have helped us achieve a lot (if any) more success. But he cant be held responsible for dishing the cash out

Milner isn't the type to do a pierre van hoydonk. I think the day before we signed him he blasted a hatrick for newcastle.

Im 100% confident if he stays he'll be the same old Milner 7/10 minimum every week. so it's a no loose situation for Villa.

I'd say this is the norm at most clubs but manager still identifies the players that he wants

Well you'd have thought so but when you see comments along the lines of "MON has wasted the money" and "Randy is right to say sell to buy considering the huge sums MON has wasted " etc etc you begin to wonder

I'm guessing Coventry as they played a FA CUP game just before the transfer happened.
