there are two sorts of trade.

Gathering, and production. Some gathering trades compliment other production trades. Herbalism/Alchemy, Skinning/Leatherworking, Mining/Blacksmithig or Engineering.

You can go for two gathering trades, to make money, or use one to make yourself stuff. Tailoring makes cloth armour, which you can wear, but in my experience, its easier and cheaper just to ask a freindly player who is a tailor to make anything you might need than skilling up yourself. As a magic user, id suggest you follow TRL, and go with Herbalism/Alchemy. I wish id picked that myself (im skinning tailoring) but i cant be arsed to retrain now ive gone so far down the road ive chose.

I will say learn first aid, and keep it maxed as far as your level will allow.

It will save you from dying. Its saved me loads.

Oh, and dead level 60 alliance PvP specialist anyone?

Have some of that!

L36 now. I've got possibly the most useless totem ever, it's called Sentry Totem. When you drop it, you can click on the buff item, and it lets you see things from its view. I'm struggling to think of a time I'll ever use it to be honest.

But lets make one thing clear.... BADLANDS IS **** ACE!!!!

Went on a exploring trip now, and the place is great for xp, money and most important killing allies

After going down west a while, i ran into a level 40 shaman getting his ass kicked by 3 level 38 allies...so i had to butt in ;)

I killed one, the shaman got one...and when the last hunter ally nearly killed me, a level 54 rogue appeared and saved me!!!

**** awsome...i made corporal, and then sergeant in less then 10 min there.

Then i left the shaman and rogue and continued exploring. But the allies fellas didnt wanna let me go, so they followed me. I had full health, but no mana, so i ran like Linford Christie, still one of em caught up with me... then he managed to get 3-4 mobs on me, so i died, but right before i died, i feared him off into the worst **** high level monster area...so funny. Could just see his hp deplete :D

I'll have to give Badlands a go, as I'm running out of decent quests. I've got loads left to do in Hillsbrad and Arathi, but it's more or less pointless by yourself, and both places are completely populated by gank squads.

It's weird to think that we're at about the level now that Si and Nays were when we started. I still feel like such a noob at times though.

Badlands is funny when there is a Horde MC raid.

They always meet at the camp in Badlands.

Oh, and MC? Its Moltern Core. The big endgame instance. You need fourty (yes 40!) level 60 players to do it.

And some of those dont mind kicking the shit out of the ally near our camp in Badlands.

Okey, just realised ive made a mistake. When the sergeant and stuff showed up. I thought i got promotion, but apparently the one's i killed was sergeant etc.

And btw Nays. Thats will of forsaken is brilliant. A mage tried to charm me, and i just snapped out of it :)

And if we have a gank party soon Riss, Dan and Bicks. Then Dan should be stealthed all the time...so cool when you get attacked and they dont see the rogue!

May have a nice knife for you Dan. You have to be lvl 37 to use it, and it has a 9 + stamina buff on it. Dunno if thats any good though.

The vendor could give me 1.60 gold for it, so i guess it would go for a fair bit of money in the AH.

I'll be on later tonight (after the Cinema) and then I have a nice afternoon to myself tomorrow (the joys of working for yourself :winkold:) So should get the Warrior up to 48 and Hunter up to 13 by the weekend.

Nice. 8)

btw, Nays...2663 Now THAT is a Crit! Gratz!

I've just acquired the dagger skill, but really don't know if I can be bothered building it up again. I'm fairly happy with the one hand mace or axe plus shield combo, as I don't get much less DPS, but get miles better armor.

^^^I know the feeling Riss. My build dictates that I use two handed more tbh as I specialise in it rather than 1h. I do have a 1h +Shield though which I use more for instances and tanking but the dps is nowhere near as good. Best to have proficiency in both though.

To get to scout, you just need 25 kills in a week.

Then you get to buy he Horde tabard, which is smart as ****.

merank482se.jpg

I like it so much, i turned my cape off so you can see it from both side (you can turn your cape and hat off in the menu if you press escape. You still get the buffs, the game doesnt show them on your character..)

Of course, there are PvP rewards. As you get a rank, you get some kick ass weapons available to buy, and you get discounts on stuff to buy. It might be worth befrending a high PvP rank player now Riss and TRL, and seeing if he can get a discount on the mount for you. He probably can.

Oh, and this is a great guide to the rewards of PvP

The fantasitic thing about WoW is that it works on so many levels. You could completely ignore the PvP side of it, and still never run out of things to do. You could just hammer PvP for weeks, and not really worry about not questing and levelling, cos PvP can be great fun.
