I hope we get someone like Madrid, Barca or bayern, want someone huge both at home and away

The whole point of being there

You can’t play the same team home and away.

Its one home tie from pot 1 and one away tie from pot 1, but both matches with different opponents.

Im 36 or something like that and I’ve never seen us play in the top European tournament.

This is just unbelievable, it’s amazing, what a team, what a manager, what a club!

How does the new league phase work? And how are our chances of facing an elite side? E.g. Real/Bayern/PSG.

Obviously pot 1 is immense quality but if we get a lucky draw from pot 2 (eg Bruges / Donesk), and avoid the few tougher teams in pot 3 and 4 then there’s no reason we can’t progress

Let's just perform like we did against City at home in all those games and put our name back on the map 👀

Just want to remind everyone… the media, the press and other fans will not have “much confidence” in Villa’s CL run.

let’s not suck eggs about it, let’s just prove them wrong instead

Explained in more detail earlier in the thread but basically we play 2 teams from each pot.  So 100% guaranteed chance of playing a couple of the elite teams.

But we only need to beat roughly 3 out of 8 teams to get into the playoff round.

There will be 4 pots of 9 teams, ranked by the UEFA club coefficient.

Each team will be drawn against two teams in each pot, and play one of them at home and one away.

The teams in pot 1 are all what could be called elite sides, meaning we will at least playing two elite sides.

🥲🥲🥲 so proud of all the boys and the living legend Unai!

Might have to join the people sleeping in this thread. Apparently saying I'm happier tonight then at my wedding day was not the right thing to say 🥴 I'm my defense, I knew that was happening for ages but who could've predicted this?!  Amazing  :-)

Can we draw other teams from the prem like Arsenal or City?

That would be boring as **** but easy points based on this season.

No, you can’t draw same country teams during the league stage.
