There are so many examples of championship players having turned into high class prem players even in our current starting eleven. To close off the possibility seems mad to me There are hundreds who haven't stepped up to the PL from the Championship and I was talking about being in the Champions League rather than just stepping up to the PL. Factor in the cost of Championship talents v overseas talents with a good scouting network and sporting director, and I would certainly be focusing elsewhere.
