I was at MCM Comic Con last year and there was some little middle aged guy dressed like Ash performing the theme song live over and over again.

Turns out it was the original performer.

Back in 1984, during my first attempt at college, I saw a guy play in a club who was supposedly the very first person to put the two songs together. He was a singer-comedian hybrid and this was his claim to fame. For the life of me can’t remember his name
