Sort of a make or break summer for Gerrard.

For the club. With Newcastle coming up and other teams improving that any **** up will be costly

Its why people are very worried about the manager

No wonder you are so positive you think we are doing so much better than we are in real results.

Unless i'm in a timewarp.

Our last 10 games are:

Saturday 5th March: 4 - 0 win against Southampton

Thursday 10th March : 3 - 0 win against Leeds

Saturday 2nd April: 1 - 2 loss to Wolves

Saturday 9th April: 0 - 4 loss to Tottenham

Saturday 23rd April: 0 - 0 draw with Leicester

Saturday 30th April: 2 - 0 win against Norwich

Saturday 7th May: 1 - 3 win against Burnley

Tuesday 10th May: 1 - 2 Loss to Liverpool

Sunday 15th May: 1 - 1 draw with Palace

Thursday 19th May: 1 - 1  draw with Burnley

Erm, what in the Mandela effect?

4 wins, 3 draws, 3 losses.

Are we just making shit up again? 😂

So you want me to count an extra 2 games, in stats for our last 10 games?

What sorcery is this? LMAO

Judging a manager who has not had a pre-season or a summer transfer window, yet has come in and improved results over a sustained period with the previous manager's personnel despite using a very different system not properly catered for by said personnel, is very Villa alright. I'll have more sympathy for negative commenters when the opinions acknowledge or allow for any extenuating circumstances rather than what I'm reading right now. Steeevie G's summer window should be fun to watch.

Great post BOF.

What is with all these extreme views all the time?
Has SG been great? No. Has SG been terrible? No. Has he had a full preseason? No.

Yeah that would then be the last 12 games, not 10.

You and Zatman are essentially trying to find a way to turn 10 games into 12.

Oh, I see what we are trying to do here, we are trying to select a sample size of the worst possible run/sample, for effect. LMAO

FFS......

Guys, we have 4 wins | 3 draws | 3 losses from our last 10 matches.

We are also 8th for points earned since SG has been hired.

However, what I'm going to attempt to do, is choose a sample size of the worst run of results we have had in his tenure, and hope none of you bother to actually check the stats.

This is outstanding work. I've got to applaud the effort. 🤣

no it wouldn’t the Southampton and Leeds wins in your list as per you are the 5th and 10th of March.  We then lost the next two to West Ham and Arsenal on the 13th and 19th March.

I’m honestly not trying anything on here, just check yourself!

I'm actually the one counting too many games.

Apologies @Zatman and @nick76

Ok, fair play on the 10 games, but it's still convenient sample size selection.

We could easily choose another sample size which looks better.

Again, the most important sample size, is what he has actually achieved points wise etc since being here.

So in correction, what I was looking at from BBC is 4 wins | 5 losses | 3 draws from 12 games.

Apology not accepted 😉

All good! I thought I was losing my mind.  We don’t agree on this thread much but when we have different facts I started to question myself!  I need therapy and a lie down now 😂
