thabucks Posted July 25, 2023 Share Posted July 25, 2023 I think there should be a LDN and maybe even Manchester tax and a more leeway for teams outside the M25 & M60 … We will never be able to compete with Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal, WHU simply down to location and why should we be penalised due to locality ? The problem is FFP as a concept and also the glass ceiling - you can’t get higher revenues without being a top team, and you can’t be a top team until you have higher revenue. I’ve worked there on numerous occasions and what a lifeless dump. The most delusional bunch you could find anywhere if they think that place has got any merits at all. Maybe that's a way for us to increase sponsorship revenue, as it stands we are being generally being paid for PL exposure not European exposure.
