tricella
I voted for Manchester United. The game was very good and I enjoyed it very much. I also must add that I feel for John Terry. It is tragic that he was so close to give Chelsea the trophy but failed because he slipped in the moment he kicked the ball. Unbelievable bad luck and this will follow him the rest of his life...so I really do feel for him despite being happy Chelsea missed out.
The_Rev
Nice point on Drogba by Andy Townsend. If he hadnt been a clearing in the woods and got a stupid red card, would JT have taken the 5th penalty, and would Man Utd be champions of Europe right now? ianrobo1
I thought it was a fabulous advert for the Premier League. exce[t the constant harranging of the official sby chelsea, they never learnt from the Spuds game, next season the refs have to stamp that out
Super-Villan
I think it was pretty even. Man U had them for toast in the first half, and were very unlucky to go in level. Chelsea really pushed on at the start of the second half, but it became even again in the last 15 mins when Man U switched their system a bit. So I'd say Man U just edged it. And even more so because I think they play the better football. Man Utd switched to match Chelsea's system in the second because they were getting overrun. Over the course of the 90 minutes, Chelsea deserved to win that for me, no question. That was exactly my point. Chelsea really overran Man U for about half an hour of the second half, with the last 15 minutes being pretty even. The first half Man U absolutely killed them. I make that Man U's game by a whisker. Was the game entertaining? Yes. Was the game exciting? Yes. Thats a good advert for the division in my eyes.

Disagree. Entire second half and most of ET was Chelsea's for me. Man Utd got the first. If you ask me, had Chelsea had a miore willing forward up top instead of Drogba, things would have been made that little bit easier, lazy bastard. Manchester United players were just as guilty, don't know why you've just singled out Chelsea players. Both as bad as one another. The diving towards the end was a **** joke. Hardly a tragedy, if it was then Kevin Richardson would have been suicidal! 5 penalties in his career and he missed all of them!

He wanted to grab the glory, fair enough, but had Anelka been confident enough, i don't reckon JT would have taken the spot kick. Anelka wasdn't used until sudden death, so thats shows how cofident he was. Shows a lot of bottle to do what he did, make of break penner in the Champions League Final. Fair play to him i say. Got up and took it whilst the likes of Anelka and Essien, those you'd say would be in front of him in the penalty taking, sat back and watched.
